Heavys are meant for just day to day listening, they’re closer to Beats than they are to studio headphones. Go with the DT 770’s if you want a closed back headphone for mixing.

I use this as a headphone amp also and works well. I got beyerdynamics DT 770 pro 80 ohm headphones off Amazon after quite a bit of research and they work great.

I've had a pair of DT770 Pro 250ohm cans for 10 years and expect them to last another 10. Built like a tank and sound great (need an amp for the 250ohm version). Only things I've had to replace were the earpads and the plastic pieces below the headband. Highly recommend Beyerdynamic!

Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. They are probably one of the best pair of headphones for the price (roughly 150 bucks). You have probably seen them in videos of radio stations, podcasts, recording studios - they are everywhere. Best thing about them - you can get the whole damn thing in spare parts - down

For vocals go DT770, closed back means no bleed into the mic. 80 ohm version doesn't need an amp. For mixing bass heavy stuff the DT990 has better low end but the hyped highs can trick you into mixes that sound harsh elsewhere. Learned that the hard way. DT770 does both jobs well enough and keeps it

There’s the Boss Katana:Go and probably one or two others. The “best” is subjective. Best for what? What kind of music do you play. What guitar(s) do you have? I had both the Fender and Boss. I sold the Fender because the Boss just sounded better for metal. As usual, the speaker you’re playing throu

Sennheiser hd300 pros, or beyerdynamic dt 770 M You don’t want complete isolation because someone will be trying to talk to you on set every day, and it will become very annoying everytime they have to wave their arms to get your attention. You also shouldn’t turn your volume all the way up 99.9% of

Unless you’re keen on DIY conversions of acoustic drums, look towards Roland kits with the 3 digital pads (snare, ride, hats). For that amount of money you can also find some cool custom builders like drum-tec that makes kits with or without the digital pads. If you have preferences, such as acousti
