You‘re missing headphones! You will not be able to record vocals with your monitors producing sound. Maybe look into the DT 770 pro by Beyerdynamic? Any closed back headphones will be great for recording and tracking.

ATH M50X and DT770 have good isolation. I also provide a place to set the headphones down so the artist isn't pulling their cans on or off or trying to hang them close to the mic. One word of warning though. When headphone levels are extremely loud, you need to very careful and responsible and in co

I use the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (80 Ohm) and they are great, perfect isolation and very comfortable. Can’t say anything about the M version or any of the other headphones here but the 770 Pros should solve your problems.

I happen to have both headphones. The HD280 is my daily driver that stays attached to my TD17 module. I just did a practice session with the DT 770 so I could give you a comparison. Here is how I compare them: HD280 - it definitely has more sound isolation, it sounds good, and the cord is longer and

Any reason you switched from in-ears? You could always use in-ears and place hearing-protection earmuffs over them for extra isolation if that's what you're after. The best isolation headphones I've found are the Beyerdynamic DT770 M 80; they actually have more isolation than the Vic Firths but the

The DT 770 PRO have slightly higher quality audio, but the DT 770 M have better isolation/blocking of outside sounds. I think the way they are made for drummers might make them block low and high sounds more so similar to my equalizer settings I use on my PC which helps block/lessen triggers that a

I'm using my Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro x 48 with a Fiio K11, and I haven't needed anything else. Later, I bought a Fiio KA11 to use with my phone, which was also good, but I mostly use the Fiio K11 at my computer, and I think these two are the best in terms of user experience. I think it's not just the

If your budget is up to around $300 (but preferably closer to $200), you’re actually in a great range for durable headphones that work well for competitive gaming. Some strong options to consider: Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (80 ohm) = extremely durable build, replaceable pads and parts, very good isola
