This is gonna be a wall of text so I apologize. I own a lot of different headphones, ranging from cheap to very expensive. But I can tell you that this is an extremely subjective thing. On top of that, it depends how much you want to spend. I would say the best thing is to find an audio shop where y

Definitely not anything Bluetooth. I use a couple of different closed backs as I like the isolation and better bass response - Fiio FT1 & Beyerdynamic DT700 Pro X. The Beyers are my personal favourite. You might prefer an open back but it may depend on the type of music you mainly listen to.

Most anything from Beyerdynamic is excellent. Great build quality and great sound. The 700 Pro X I have are my favorite headphones and I’ve gone through a lot of nice headphones.

I use the Beyerdynamic 700 Pro X, often, and for a long time used the V Moda Crossfade M-100. Both have a flat frequency approach to music, so no bass boosting. They're also both wired, which is better for audio quality. Never found a real need for noise cancellation or other such stuff.

Beyerdynamic DT 700 pro X (When I can sit and actively listen). I have also had the DT 770’s, but the sub bass on the 700’s are just amazing to hear details in lower register focused tracks.
