Betta SE Plus it's great for skimming. The combo units are not solar, so require charging after 3 or 4 hours. The Better can run non-stop, only requiring a charge of it's been in the shade for a day. Without a doubt, Betta SE Plus. Charge it, let it clean and it will run continuously recharge, through solar. Then when theres no sun, charge it… rinse and repeat. Also if you get a ton of leaves, clean its basket frequently. Just my advice
