Nothing Ear (2024) review as a long-time AirPods owner
Hi!
A week or two ago, I found myself pretty interested in the Nothing Ears since I read up about it being able to playback HQ audio (LDAC and LHDC) and heard that reviewers were raving on hard about how they sounded + was really tempted by their largely competitive pricing. After the past week o

Looking for the best earbuds for running
If I am not using my Oakley Meta to listen to music on my runs I will 100% have my Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 in. They hook the ear perfectly, don’t move, and the sound is amazing. The only issue you may have is they do cancel noise leaving you to be much more aware of your surroundings

DC rainmakers review of the power Beats Pro… it’s bad
He's being far too kind. The heart rate sensor is definitely one of the offensively worst hardware features I can think of on any product Apple has ever released. The product would definitely be better without it, both in terms of cost and in terms of size/weight. I wish I could get a refund for the

Update on Comply foam tips, PBP2
This is one of the most common failure points for Comply's foam tips, regardless of which set of earbuds you're buying them for. I'm surprised they lasted more than three months, but all good things must come to an end. If you're looking for a good alternative, Azla's foam and silicone eartips are p

Over ear headphones for cycling
Powerbeats Pro 2. They don't necessarily sit in your ears like airpods or other headphones do, but they do touch your ear canal. If you don't like that, then try the Bose Ultra Open Ear. They clip onto your outer ear like an earring and are fantastically comfortable and my favorite headphones.

Just had to return my Pixel Buds Pro
Unfortunate. The PBP2 fit my ears perfectly. Even the beats fit pro with the wing tips sometimes fell out of my ears. Normally had problems with my left ear but the pbp2 stay in nicely. They could be a bit more snug but they don't fall out. Did you try different ear tips? I feel like my left ear is

Need new watch - Current Apple watch battery life not ideal
I have the Ultra 2 and love it for the aforementioned integration with the Apple-Ecosystem (apple health etc.). However, for HR data on Peloton equipment, I use the PowerBeats Pro 2 earbuds that have a HR monitor built in as well, and don't use the AW for workouts on the equipment (only the app). I

Runners, which headphones?
I love my Powerbeats Pro 2. The noise canceling is great, comfortable to wear and hold up well after sweating during a long workout. I prefer the sound profile as it has a richer bass, as opposed to others, but some don’t like that.
