Have you talked to Beatbot? I have an oval/lagoon style pool with similar steep slope changes and my Sora 30 gets the dirt no problems.

Ah yes, my Sora 30 has that as well. It is true that it uses AI, but it is just for obstacle avoidance vs. the Aquasense line which "looks for" debris and targets it (on the pool floor anyways). After re-reading your post I see that you are actually only talking about the waterline. I'll be followin

Love my BeatBot Sora 30, and the metallic orange paint is very stylish too.

Look into the Beatbot Sora 30. Its specialty is ledges / shelves. It’s pretty new so “AI” might not have much collateral on it yet. Just got mine and so far, so good on a Latham Claremont fiberglass pool with benches and steps.

I see so many people talk about the battery units dying in the middle of the pool. That isn’t necessarily true. I have the Beatbot sora 30 and when the battery gets low it goes to a wall and comes up the water line. My huge complaint about the corded units is that the power units aren’t waterproof.

Highly recommend the Beatbot Sora 30 (or 70 if you want skimming). Just got it to replace my Aiper Scuba S1. Budget oriented robot with mid to high-end features. I've ran it 3 times so far and it does way better on my sport bottom pool than the Aiper did.

I bought the beatbot Sora 30. Working great so far. I'll either upgrade to an Aiper when this one goes bad, or get a nicer beatbot model. The basket is very large on the Sora 30. I also have a 3um filter coming in the mail, so my plan is to keep running this larger filter twice daily until it gets h

Beatbot sora 30 for the bottom and walls and a Betta for the surface. I hardly ever have to brush my pool anymore and the Betta gets more debris than my actual skimmers.

I have an AS2 and a Betta skimmer and the combo did an amazing job keeping the pool clean all last year. Just FYI, Beatbot does have a finer filter available for the AS2 but you have to email their Support and ask. It wasn’t available on the website or Amazon store. The Sora 30 specs do look pretty
