Just bought a Legion Go 2 Extreme - what accessories do I need??

My kit is focused on portability and ease of setup and tear down to maximize downtime while waiting at airports, or while picking up kids etc. It doubles as a work device, and the big plus is airport security never asks me to take it out for scanning. I put everything in the JSAux sling bag, which h

Gaming in my subaru impreza house

Since the Steam Deck price hike made it a little harder to justify, a few other handhelds have become much better options. If you want a Windows handheld that can handle basically anything you throw at it, the ASUS ROG Ally X is easily the top recommendation right now. ASUS basically fixed all the c

3 in 1 portable power bank for 17 pro max, apple watch and air pods

I've split those in two. Baseus Blade power bank and a folding 3-in-1 charger my phone/watch/pods. The powerbank is the 100W PD one so it will charge my laptops if needed. Reason for the blade power bank specifically is the form factor, it fits in a laptop bag well and doesn't bulge.

Charging on trains and airplanes

ran into this flying cross country last month. most plane ports max at 60-75w which wont keep the g14 charged under load. grabbed a 100w usb c power bank and a compact 100w gan charger - charges through usb c even if the seat port is weak. also the baseus blade is slim enough for train trays. check

Silicon carbon (si/c) power bank, are there any yet?

The baesus blade 2 series does. There is a 65w 12,000mah and a 140w 24,000 mah version. I have both. They’re pretty sweet. The flatter shape fits more neatly into various bag pockets I find. https://www.chargerlab.com/the-ultimate-pd3-1-laptop-travel-companion-a-closer-look-at-baseus-blade2-power-ba

Is it possible to cut a whole where the battery is and have the ability to swap it out for a new one?

You could. I think you'd mainly lose structural rigidity, maybe some EM shielding. Have you considered laptop battery bank? Seems like it would be a much easier to implement solution, and a much simpler one. You can plug it in in a second without shutdown, it can charge your phone/mouse/headset/...

What do you carry with yourself daily?

I got a small pouch that fits 65W charger, couple 3m cables (usb-c and lightning), apple watch charging puck, usb-c adapters to micro-usb and usb-a, microfiber cloth and a rubber ball that splits into laptop stand. Basically everything I need to charge whatever I could be carrying with me. Those sma

Looking for the slimmest 20,000mAh power bank for a bicycle frame storage compartment

They do exist. For example the Baseus Blade. But you don't get it at the very narrow width. This ruler like form factor I have never seen.

Have you ever had a power bank die way earlier than expected?

Yeah I had a Baseus Blade (the big flat one, not the newer smaller but still flat one that looks like a slab). It just stopped taking a charge after 9 months of moderate-light use.

Power bank sparks fire at Buangkok earlier

safety of the charger itself, hit or miss... Baseus has had product lines that caught fire... but at least they owned up and issued recalls, so I'm inclined to trust them. am currently using a baseus blade for my laptop and ugreen magsafe one for my phone
