Just got an H2D — and it’s already dead

Man, I’d be frustrated too, especially dropping that much money on something that’s supposed to “just work.” You did your part: researched, paid for quality, and followed the troubleshooting steps. At that price point, i agree that you shouldn’t be spending day one diagnosing motor errors. (in my ex

Help me out here, convince me

I’d still recommend the Bambu Labs P1S in this case. The controversy around Bambu is mainly about their closed ecosystem and the move to block third-party apps, not about the quality or reliability of the printers themselves. As for the Anycubic Kobra S1, I’ve watched a number of reviews and seen qu

Just made the switch!

Read the bambu wiki. It has a lot of very useful info and detailed guides on how to maintenance that machine. If you find yourself doing a lot of single color prints or are doing a big job that is single color, use the back spool holder to minimize wear on the AMS and buffer. Around 900 hours you ma

M3 Touring 24h Quick Print

not at all! its a Bambu Labs P1S. Had it for a month or two and it's been quite great so far, though the company is under some deserved scrutiny right now which is definitely worth looking into if you're thinking about picking one up.

Fursuit base printing?

I'm guessing based on the shape you're aiming for tpu or foaming tpu? Personally I'd recommend a printer with an enclosure (glass box) around it. BambuLab is as close to "plug and play" for consumers that I would recommend personally.. It's been a joy for me to use and I went into 3d printing knowin

Trying to decide between 3D printers

I have 33 printers. About 10 are Bambu. I love them. We have mostly anycubics bc of the price point. We had to scale up a lot quicker than we expected. And being able to catch kobra combos on sale for next to nothing was very helpful. Those are pretty good printers. Our others are PRUSA. Even they a

Just ordered my first Bambu – a P2S. Is there anything I should be aware of?

Wow, I'm in the same situation. Birthday was in November and got the green light as well. I guess you're loved a little extra cause I only got the P1S combo. But, speaking from the experience from a brand new (to both 3D printing and Bambu Ecosystem) all I can say is, so far it's been the least pain

Considering a new printer - questions about Bambu

I cannot answer all of your questions but I will share my experience with you. For sake of clarity, I am based in Europe, experiences in other regions may differ. I purchased a P1S with an AMS2 as a combo. I have not experienced failures other than those caused by myself. I keep to the basics; Store

People who think, that you can not buy happyness should try 3d printing.

Can confirm. Had an Ender 5 Pro that I sold a few years ago and I spent more time getting it to print right than to print things. Got a BambuLab P1S Combo delivered yesterday afternoon and I had it unboxed and printing test prints by late evening without issues.
