CC2 Combo Officially Available, $449

You’d be a fool to buy this when Bambu is selling the p1s pro combo for $620, better machine, better support (both first party and third party,) better ams (built in heater,) etc. Yes it’s more expensive but if you want to save money get the ad5x it’s regularly below $300, there is no good reason to

Fursuit base printing?

I'm guessing based on the shape you're aiming for tpu or foaming tpu? Personally I'd recommend a printer with an enclosure (glass box) around it. BambuLab is as close to "plug and play" for consumers that I would recommend personally.. It's been a joy for me to use and I went into 3d printing knowin

Help me out here, convince me

Honestly, the controversies very likely won't apply to your 10 year old. If you want a printer that just works (which I'd say is especially important for a 10 year old), Bambu Lab is the way to go. My first printer was a constant headache, and switching to Bambu and tossing my old printer at the dum

Easy LST tip

I don't know of any specific subreddits for that, but r/functionalprints has a bunch of cool stuff pop up. Bambu Lab/Maker World has a massive community with an insane amount of free files for grow tents and cultivation equipment/tools. I have two and both are made by Bambu Lab. The A1 is their entr

3D Printed .22 LR Tough Case Ammo Insert!

Thanks man. I have a Bambu Lab P1S Combo. Honestly that or the Bambu Lab A1 Combo will do you well. Get a P1S Combo if you want an enclosed printer for printing harder materials like PA-CF. But the best bang for your buck for sure is the P1S Combo.

Advice on first printer? :)

An open air printer is fine for printing PLA, PETG, and TPU, and that will cover the vast majority of designs on makerworld. If the kinds of projects you are considering list those as a valid option then you're probably fine not getting the enclosure on your first printer. You only need an enclosure

What to buy

Personally, if you can stretch it, I'd stay far away from an Ender, and prefer a COreXY machine over the bedslingers today- they're a bit more complex, but faster, generally better print quality, and are or can be enclosed to print more advanced materials. Between those two, I'd probably do the A1 m

What printer to buy?

P1S combo. Best deal going right now. I was out of printing for several years and got back in by jumping on the P1S combo. The reason I stopped printing was because I felt I couldn’t really print anything useful on my Ender 3 pro because of no inclosure. Always wanted a Bambu Labs printer but they w

and P2s without ams attachments (i can always buy later). Do note that buying an AMS later is usually a lot more expensive than if you got it in a Combo. The A1 beats the P1S when it comes to QoL and cost. It has generational improvements like fast swap nozzles, dynamic flow calibration, and the che

[US] Deal Alert!! Best Buy has the X1C w/ AMS combo package for $799 as 16 Oct 2025 Deal of the Day!

Ill try to be as plain as possible because that will be the easiest to understand for everyone involved. = A1 Combo =- AMS lite is kinda annoying, no drying. Feeding can be dumb sometimes.- Fast swap nozzles, absolute godsend. 10/10.- Bed Slinger, Not good for tall prints. Higherly chance of yeeting
