Just got an H2D — and it’s already dead

Man, I’d be frustrated too, especially dropping that much money on something that’s supposed to “just work.” You did your part: researched, paid for quality, and followed the troubleshooting steps. At that price point, i agree that you shouldn’t be spending day one diagnosing motor errors. (in my ex

Help me out here, convince me

I’d still recommend the Bambu Labs P1S in this case. The controversy around Bambu is mainly about their closed ecosystem and the move to block third-party apps, not about the quality or reliability of the printers themselves. As for the Anycubic Kobra S1, I’ve watched a number of reviews and seen qu

Soo close...

All Bambu printers are multicolor capable but the AMS multicolor system is a separate unit. The Bambu A1 combo is $400, the Bambu P1S combo is $550, P2S combo is $800 and beyond that you get into larger machines with multiple tool heads and tons of other features. Incredible machines and easy to use

U1 vs P2S

Disclosure: I don't own either of these machines. I have two P1S units, I'm a fan of Bambu products in general, and I backed the U1 which I'm expecting in January. I think that if you want to do multicolor prints, the best option right now in the sub-$1k price range is the Snapmaker U1. You're right

With the P1S Combo dropping to $549 is it worth paying $250 for the P2S combo

I bought a P1S for $750 4 days before the P2S was announced. I returned it and got a P2S when it was released since it was only $50 more than I paid and it came with the AMS2. I like the new features, especially the camera and touch screen (easy to update colors loaded and repeat prints) and the AI

Advice needed: Used X1 Carbon vs new P2S

any X1C that costs more than a P2S is too expensive - the P2S is superior in virtually any aspect - the X1C was even a hard sell against the P1S, there was not much that the printer could do better (and yes, offended X1 owners will soon crawl out of their holes and explain that the printer has a fan

CC2 Combo Officially Available, $449

You’d be a fool to buy this when Bambu is selling the p1s pro combo for $620, better machine, better support (both first party and third party,) better ams (built in heater,) etc. Yes it’s more expensive but if you want to save money get the ad5x it’s regularly below $300, there is no good reason to

Got my P1S today with AMS 2

I'm waiting on a pin connector and a hub for the tubing to connect my AMS to my P1S. Other than that, it's great! I was absolutely excited to get it today as it bambu said my p1s was backordered til the 18, but lucky me, it showed up earlier! So far the print quality is a huge jump up from the A1 at

Is AnkerMake not selling 3D printers anymore?

I got the M5C at Best Buy for $150 — it was a steal. I absolutely loved it. It really got me into 3D printing, especially since it was such an easy machine to set up and use straight out of the box. I did some research at the time, and a lot of people recommended it. After about a month of using the
