They are an excellent generalist with a clear and even timbre and an especially nice midrange presentation, that, while not speaker-like in soundstage, are good enough you can use them as monitors provided you understand their picture below 70hz isn't as accurate as the rest. I don't find it hard to

Headphone wise youre better off with a good set of open back headphones. Something like akg k702, seenheiser hd800, audio technica ad900x or hell if you really want an integrated mic. The new kithara from asus. They all feel like cheat codes compared to gaming headsets

This. Years ago, after researching this topic a lot on overclockerscom, I settled in AudioTechnica ATH-AD900X headphones and added an Antlion Modmic. I had to replace the Modmic once in those years, but the headphones are top quality, still going strong and still comfortable after 10 years. Best dec

Headphones are a pretty personal thing. The ones I like might be the worst fit for you... As I see it, there aren't really headphones that "are for Siege". It also really depends on your budget. Are you going for a pair that costs only 10 bucks? Or are you willing to go the goddamn MILE and pay thou

I normally use my DT1990 pros but I had a set of audio technica ATH-ADG1X that I used for traveling for work playing Tarkov. I loved that headset… they sounded great and super light and comfortable but the mic just broke off last week. I am actually going to order a set of ATH-AD900X and give them a

It's weird I've seen a few posts about cables being faulty with the same symptoms as what I'm getting just not on the 900 pro x, but on other beyerdynamics. The one thing I can't get my head around, is that my second unit is basically doing what my first unit was doing. I got the replacements basica

If your main focus is competitive gaming (footsteps / positioning / clarity) you’ll usually get better results looking at headphones with a more neutral or slightly bright tuning rather than “bass-heavy gaming headsets.” Since you don’t need a mic, some really solid options: Under ~$200 • Sennheiser

Yes. I have blue ones. In my whole gaming life I used over ear headphones and always prefered closed ones and hated the idea of sticking anything into my ears, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I could compare the size of sound stage to my OG headset Sennheiser PC350, but the quality of sound is

What I wish I knew. Resist the future proof BS upsell. Nothing is future proof. Content is barely 7.1 Atmos let alone more and much more often a lot less! Do you really need 8K, HDMI 2.1, wifi7, etc. Buy quality and what you need now. You can flip it as you upgrade or like me still have a 36 year ol
