The Audeze LCD-GX is currently the best gaming headset you can get, at least as far as I'm aware. A great and much more budget friendly option is Beyerdynamic MMX-300 Pro.

I have a Schiit Gunnr DAC/AMP + Audeze LCD GX combo, it's a nice setup tbh. Positiona

Honestly? If you are willing to spend the money, Audeze makes a Maxwell headset that has 90mm transducers. Or if you are on PC, Audeze LCD-GX has 106mm transducers. These are very high quality. But if you are more interested in budget friendly, Lucid Sound makes decent headsets. I would avoid Turtle

The only modern open-backed wireless headphones I know of are the Turtle Beach Atlas Airs. I'm not sure on the sound quality myself as the brand isn't as popular in my country but reviews on them are generally favourable as far as gaming headsets go.
