Oooh! Here we go! [rubs hands together enthusiastically] For home theater purposes, I have Audeze LCD-2C Classics. Big soundstage, deep (but not heavy) bass, and big earpads are incredibly comfortable. My previous home theater headphone was Hifiman HE-400i, modded with ZMF lambskin earpads. For clos

The HD490 has strong mids, very good detail, and superb directional audio for gaming. Lighter on the bass than the XV and maybe less versatile for music. I prefer the XV for music most of the time, The HD490 Pro is very solid and competent at most things related to music but stands out more for gami

ZMF Atrium Open and Audeze LCD2 Classic owner. I only listened to Atrium so my description is based only on this headphone and none of other ZMF. Sound is not accurate in a good way, enjoyable, musical, the other end of spectrum from dry, detailed forward mids, touch warm, highs are never sharp and

Very nice. I traded in my Audeze LCD-2c because I thought the Edition XV was outperforming it.

The short answer is, just to have another option I can trust and rely on. I feel like I have the best monitors I can have for my situation, and I'm very happy with the Audeze LCD2 classic being my headphone chameleon. Right now the IEM role is filled by the Letshouer S08, which I didn't buy for the

The Empyrean OG is an interesting headphone because like you said I wouldn’t say it’s warm as much as it is just smooth and forgiving which is a little different. Verite Open is a slightly warm leaning headphone but I am not sure if it’s warm enough for your tastes. The Bokeh Closed is definitely mo

I bought Clears (pre MG), and then stopped looking or buying headphones for home use. Just everything I had been looking for. The other pair that was close to that for me was Audeze LCD-2C. Senn HD 6xx/650 are really great for detailed and smooth mids, but are lifeless and a bit smeared / veiled com

I love my headphones, although I found what I loved some time ago and have stuck with them, so I'm not with the times on the latest models. For at home, I use open back headphones. Best sound quality, but they don't isolate from the environment, so these probably aren't what you're after if you're l

Aryas have a wider soundstage, more airyness and lil more detail/clarity, highs didnt seem to be so piercing. Imaging is very holographic and they almost disappear on your head, way lighter in comparison. Sound is very analytical though, not as fun as my lcd-2 classic, bass is very impressive on bot
