Asus Pen 3.0: Great performance but bizarre button behavior on PX13 (2026) and (some) Surface devices.
Unfortunately, I'm guessing this is entirely dependent on whether the 2026 PX13 is using the same digitizer and drivers as the 2024 model. The screen is supposed to be the same, but it's hard to know what ASUS has changed otherwise. That said, I was thinking of taking the pen to a Best Buy to try it

Should I sell my GPD Win 4 for a lower end GPD Pocket 4?
I used to own P4 for three months and sold it in the favour of bigger Asus PX13. P4 screen is bigger that W4 but still too small for productivity with an old eyes. The keyboard is just crap for typing, especially multi language. Touchpad is tiny and lacks sensitivity and adjustability. For it's size

MacBook Pro for Linux Users - we might have an answer
Asus ProArt PX13 500 nits outdoors. There it's my limitation, I use the laptop in sunlight many times and I can't find a replacement of macbooks for the life of me. It's basically coding. I need ram, battery life and good screen. Everything else is tolerable.

Matte Screen Protector Recommendation?
There is a discussion about how screen protectors reduce pen usability. Which really sucks as I want a matt screen protector to better mimic drawing on paper. See comment section at bottom https://www.asus.com/uk/laptops/for-creators/proart/proart-px13-hn7306/review/

Asus ROG flow X13
Asus stopped x13 flow manufacturing in 2023, however they did launch the PX13 pro art. I had 2 of the earlier models 5900hs + 1650 then 6900 hs + 3050. It’s a super compact platform but has teething issues. Get more ram since the ram is soldered on. Potential storage upgrades are limited to the m2 2

Surface Pro 7 in 2026
More or less the same here: SP7, i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD storage. I'm still running Windows 10 because I'm resistant to change, but it could easily upgrade. Agreed re: sluggish-ness, but it's a 5-year-old machine that gets heavy use (one might say abuse) daily. Battery life is typically only in the

Constant stuttering, framedrops when on battery
I "solved" a similar issue (was not able to watch a browser video on battery without getting horrific audio drops) by reinstalling windows from microsoft's image (first 23h2, then upgraded to 25h2). The latencies (tested by LatencyMon app) are still quite shitty on windows 25h2 (in the 400-500 range
