My G14 caught fire yesterday
I unplug my laptop at night and when I go away from it at work and stuff out of paranoia mostly. (had an asus proart px13 literally melt itself from usb-c charging) But in 2025/2026 I feel like we should be allowed to have charging our daily device unsupervised not be dangerous.

Should I sell my GPD Win 4 for a lower end GPD Pocket 4?
I used to own P4 for three months and sold it in the favour of bigger Asus PX13. P4 screen is bigger that W4 but still too small for productivity with an old eyes. It’s a super compact platform but has teething issues. Get more ram since the ram is soldered on. Potential storage upgrades are limited to the m2 2

Constant stuttering, framedrops when on battery
I "solved" a similar issue (was not able to watch a browser video on battery without getting horrific audio drops) by reinstalling windows from microsoft's image (first 23h2, then upgraded to 25h2). The latencies (tested by LatencyMon app) are still quite shitty on windows 25h2 (in the 400-500 range

linux on proArt px13?
Hi, I can't answer the question about the particular software you want to run, but you should look at the following from this reddit community: From Anyone who tried the ASUS ProArt PX13 (HN7306)? there's a report (5 months ago) with NixOS that things were generally working, except bluetooth failed,
