Switching from AWU1 to Instinct 3 (or vice versa). Any regrets regarding data accuracy?
Isn't perfect but it works. I don't see the point really unless you want to swap devices back and forth and use Bevel as the hub, why deal with it otherwise when everything you need is in Garmin natively. Whoop also suing Bevel so we'll see what happens there, in the meantime it makes more sense as

Realistically, how long does your Apple Watch Ultra 2 battery last?
That's a great feature. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in Apple Watch Ultra 2, so I cannot set a maximum limit of 80% every time. The best I can do is rely on optimized charging.

Apple dropping the Apple Watch Series 8 after only 4 years while the iPhone 11 gets iOS 27 makes no sense
And this update is supposed to be battery and performance improvements update… which means it should be less demanding on the hardware, according to Apple’s own claims. To the extent any new feature really can’t be supported due to hardware limitations, so be it. Apple Watch Ultra was left out on do

Fenix 8 or Apple watch Ultra 3
Just ditched my Apple Watch Ultra 2 for a Tactix 7 AMOLED. Now I’m using the AWU2 as a mini phone and music player on runs :)

Which looks better
It’s not old and tired, it’s real, it’s just you are ok with a charging routine that others don’t like. I went from garmin to apple a few years back cause I thought the wanted the smart function’s, I’ve barely used them and now I wonder why I charge my awu2 every day or 2.

The new Photos watchface removes Live Photo animations
Ah, ok. I got my AWU2 after the animated watch faces were removed. Thank you for the reply. I wish Apple would stop removing the simple cool things.

I ditched my Apple smartwatch for this beauty.
I totally get it - a few weeks ago when work was really hectic, I started to hate my Ultra 2. I’ve worn an Apple Watch since the S0 came out but now it just seems like too much. Even with notifications off, it’s still a “thing” that I have to charge every day. Going back to the old stuff - Casio and

My next watch won't be Apple Watch
Apple didn’t screw AI implementation, it’s just their excuse. All AI processing is done on iPhone, so it’s irrelevant, what chip the watch has (regardless it’s hard to find difference between AWU1 and AWU2…) Sold AWU long time ago, switched to Garmin and I’m happy :)

AW Ultra 4: thinner body or bigger battery
Size and weight is terrible. This thing feels like a barbell at the end of your appendage, esp. if you use an Ocean or Milanese Band. Keep in mind, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is basically analogous to the 45mm Google Pixel Watch 4 LTE, which generally matches it feature for feature everywhere it counts
