No apple care or protection here on my AWU2. It’s a beast and scratch free and I’ve banged it multiple times off all sorts of materials. A case on these things is criminal and makes you look broke. On the Series watches I’d understand as they are dogshit.

If your phone is offering you the cover I would take it tbh 🤷🏻‍♂️ I always get AppleCare for peace of mind but the Ultra has been reliable and durable

Great purchase! I also found an AWU2 but black at CeX. It was £365, grade b, not sure why as it was in pristine condition. No marks at all and 100% battery health. Box too. Only thing it didn’t have was a strap. Managed to get an original Apple one used for £28. Enjoy your watch. I’m loving it.

The r/applewatchultra would be a better place to ask this but I left Garmin for the Ultra 2 and I would never go back. I had experience with the Apple series watches but the Ultra is a huge step up and I love it.
