24+ Hours of Use, Still at 40% Battery
I’m really excited about the AW11. Apple mentioned that it can last up to 24 hours, compared to the AW10 which was rated at only 18 hours. However, even the AW10 can already last more than 24 hours with regular use, so the AW11 should perform even better. Cheers!”

Which Apple Watch can I use to listen to Spotify without my phone nearby?
i agree i had AWU2 and even at that Spotify sucks on it but if i used apple music it worked perfectly.. i found it to work better when it wasn’t on power saving mode but even at that it was laggy. i got an AW11 and sorta fixed it i assume Spotify takes more processing power to use compared to apple

Giving Credit Where It’s Due: Great Improvement to COROS Strength Training (New beta firmware)
Sadly, rep counting requires a lot of data and model training with said data that none of the sportswatch brands really seems to have available or done, not even Garmin. It's sad, because recognizing a set, the correct exercise and even number of reps works very accurately on an Apple Watch in my ex

Hiking / Technology Advice
AWU will provide you a longer battery life. I hike and I have it, and as a casual hiker I have never run out of battery. AW11 should be enough for you until this hobby gets serious. WorkOutDoors IS THE APP, Alltrails and others sucks for Apple Watch. If you like to plan the hikes, download the GPX f

My First Smartwatch ⌚️Series 11
Nice. I started with cheap knockoff watches and got tired replacing them every few months. So I bought the galaxy watch 6 and was happy with it until my S24 ultra stopped vibrating without any falls. Now I’m on my first Apple Watch (11 series). I held out from buying an Apple Watch until Apple gave

Second Thoughts
Consider getting a case. I have a recent AW11, and I alternate between two cases. I have an Ultra 2 , also in a case. I’ve traded in watches (iPhones too) in pristine condition due to the protection cases provide. In fact I traded in an SE to get a discount on the 11. I’ve kept so many Apple watches

New Apple Watch user - AW10 Titanium (Apple Certified Refurbished) or new AW11 aluminum?
I would go for the titanium AW10. AW10 and AW11 are almost identical. AW11 has 5G and an 11% larger battery (I checked the battery capacity in Apple's regulatory documents lol)

Is the Ultra 3 overkill if you don’t run?
Something is overkill only if price is an object. It's just like asking if something has "too much memory". There is no such thing as too much memory, unless cost is a factor. If cost is the determining factor, then the AW11 or AW10 are great watches that will do everything that you want it to do. I

Apple Watch or Garmin? My watches (s5 s6) are too old now I guess, loading the app takes forever, if I were to upgrade which path would you recommend?
I also have Fenix 8 and a AW8, and for training I prefer the Apple Watch because Garmin is to limited. For Weight Lifting I use Hevy, for Running Runna, for Hyrox Roxfit. The Build in Stuff on Garmin come not even close to these apps. And worst off all, that expensive Garmin gets no feature updates

Apple Watch 11, or wait?
Apple is pretty much devoted to "all day" battery life on their products. They may add a bigger battery if there are additional features that warrant additional power but they try to keep that "all day" claim. If that is what you are possibly waiting for, definitely go with the 11 now if you want th
