Does dexcom G7 connect directly to the new apple watches?
Yes. We just purchased a refurbished Apple Watch SE 2nd gen for my kid to wear when she's out of range of her mom's phone. When it's just the two of us (without the primary phone), it can still read directly from the sensor and provide alerts. It's a little more convenient than the Dexcom receiver,

4 hour mountain hike
My Apple Watch is actually pretty old. It’s the Apple Watch SE (2nd generation). It lasted all day, but was at 10% by the evening. I usually charge it nightly. I’m sure the newer ones last even longer! Also, keep walking and I’m sure you’ll be able to get to long hikes soon!

Who still uses an older Apple Watch in 2026?
I am using an Apple Watch SE (2nd Generation, S8 SiP) since June 2024, and i haven’t once thought of upgrading. In my opinion, any sort of tech wearable is a once-a-decade or so purchase. I’ve had my previous watch (Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4) since 2019 and I ONLY switched because I wanted to try Apple

Which Apple Watch with 13 Mini?
My Apple Watch SE 2nd gen will not get the update this year and frankly I’m tired of Apple doing this. I’m looking at switching to a garmin.

Apple Watch compatibility with newer iOS versions
Yes, your Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) should still work with a newer iOS version, including iOS 27, for the basics. Apple keeps backward compatibility in mind, so even if your watch stops getting new watchOS updates, it will still pair and handle core features like notifications, activity tracking (ste

Best apple watch for the price?
honestly the apple watch se (2nd gen) is your best bet for value. it does everything a beginner needs - fitness tracking, notifications, heart rate - for like $250 new or $180 refurbished. series 8 is also great if you want always-on display and temp sensing, but you won't miss those as a first-time

Today, I said goodbye to my Apple Watch!
My apple watch SE 2nd gen died on me a few months ago. The display popped out and refused to get back in. Apple store coaxed me to get a new one. I did a temp patch up job with glue, that kinda saved me a few weeks, but the display was back at it again. Been without a watch all these months now. Fin

best apple watch for the price right now?
for your use case, the apple watch se 2nd gen is perfect. does notifications and workouts great and costs way less. i've been using one for a year and it still feels fast. if you want the always-on display and blood oxygen sensor, get the series 9 refurbished. don't bother with ultra unless you're d

Despite sleeping for lengthy amount of time, I wake up tired.
I’m not sure, it’s my Apple Watch SE 2nd generation. I think the time aligns more or less with my sleep/wakeup time but I hope the constant spikes where it says I’m waking up is wrong.
