what the hell, this is new to me. the first gen ipad pro/air magic keyboard had a backlit keyboard. if the magnets are in the same spot on the 4th gen - 7th gen ipad airs as well as the smart connector, then it seems like it'd be much better to save money with the older gen magic keyboard with backl

Yep, recently tried to buy a magic keyboard for my iPad Pro. They're all just called "Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro". I guess maybe it makes sense since Apple doesn't officially sell the older models (at least to my knowledge), but it's still a massive pain when looking through other sources.

The Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro M4 DOES have backlit keys and a function row. I will agree it doesn’t offer much protection but the MGK is great. Highly recommend checking for open box deals at Best Buy to snag a discount. I got mine open box excellent for $188. Only one of the pull tabs had been pu

Hey! I own both the Magic Keyboard and the Logitech Combo Touch (didn't pay anywhere close to retail for either). Buy smart, buy used! I think you'll like the Logitech. My ONLY gripe with it was that I couldn't use they keyboard in lap mode because it's a more Surface design. But, it's got a lot goi

I was reluctant to get it, in part because I loved the thinness of the Smart Folio Keyboard, and even enjoyed typing on it. (Thou

Just got the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Air. Why on earth did they get rid of the backlit keyboard? So unhappy with it!

I don't understand why everyone gets the magic keyboard for ipad instead of the $100 magic keyboard plus a case like the one from canopy. Is the touchpad useful? Apple seems to price the MK For iPad as it would price separately a Smart Folio ($100), Trackpad ($129), and Magic Keyboard ($100). I just

https://a.co/d/04FogqEb This is much cheaper and good quality IMO. I have the silver one. I heard the new magic keyboards don’t even have backlit keys? Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Yeah, the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Air M3 does not have backlit keys, only the older,(the floating one) for the M2/M1 Pros and Air M1 had backlighting. Apple ditched it in favor of the new thinner form factor ig. For a workaround, grab a USB-C rechargeable clip-on keyboard light or a small LED de
