For a console (which Valves sells it like) you will always expect lower prices than equivalent pc prices (for obvious reasons). You can literally get a M4 mac mini with 16 GB shared RAM for $600. There's other options but we don't need to move goalposts since I never claimed otherwise. You could also just get an m4 Mac mini for $500 or less right now if the form factor is important but of course performance will be worse for gaming.
