Is it realistic to use a Mac mini as a “portable” (carrying in a backpack + daily plugging/unplugging)?

I mean that many plug/unplug actions is less than ideal, but I can't say if it will actively harm the mini. If it's shut down each time I don't think there would be any risk involved. updated from a 2014 retina mbp to a m4 mini. sure, it’s faster but not insanely faster. and maybe that’s a statement on how good longevity on the macs is. i still use my old 2011 mbp, for music and stuff.

Dont get a fucking laptop if you are trying to maximize your budget. Get a Mac M4 Mini and spec it out with 32GB of RAM and the biggest SSD you can afford and go on with your life. The M4 eats up 4k 120FPS h.265 footage like it is nothing
