iPad Pro features I use every day that most people don't know about - add yours
After two years of daily use, these are the things that genuinely changed how I work: Back Tap (Settings - Accessibility - Touch - Back Tap)- double or triple tap the back of the iPad to trigger any shortcut. I use triple tap to open Control Center. Game changer with one hand Apple Pencil hover - on

Apple Watch in significant global decline for two years now; new features needed
It’s a win for consumers but not necessarily for Apple’s bottom line. But yeah their stuff is lasting a lot longer these days. My M1 iPad Pro from 2021 is still crushing it and I think my M4 Mac Mini will last 5+ years easily.

Apple Readies Pair of Headsets While Still Looking Ahead to Glasses
The most important part: “Apple readies iPadOS 19 overhaul that will make the tablet’s software more like macOS. Besides a big effort to make the design of Apple’s operating systems more consistent, a big theme of the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference is likely to be iPad software. I’m told t

How would you rank Apple's current product lines from favorite to least-favorite, and why?
me: Mac>iPhone>watch>iPad spouse: iPad>iPhone>AirPods>watch>Mac I need the file management of a real computer and love my M2 MBA. spouse prefers the ease of use of apps on a 13" iPad Pro M4 phones are necessary so rank high, but don't like tiny screens. We'll likely get an Apple TV when th Roku dies

Do I really need an Ipad Pro While Having Macbook Air M4?
If you want an iPad Pro buy one. But don't do it on the premise of "saving" your Air. I tried having both an M4 iPad Pro and a 16" MacBook Pro. It didn't work for me having two devices. I ended up selling both and buying a 15" M4 air. Apple batteries will generally last many years with high battery

do you feel like your iPad usage comes in phases?
Same here, but on a long time scale it’s amazing how integral of a role it plays. Before my current M4, my old iPad Pro 9.7 lasted me for 8 years and saw so many phases of my life. There were periods of barely any use, but through going back to school, running a small business, a work tablet, video

M5 pro fixed most of my problems I had with the ipad
No, the iPad Pro is powerful and professional in any way, even without the keyboard or Apple Pencil. The iPad is an awesome product that doesn’t need a keyboard or Mac nearby to be powerful. For instance, the iPad Pro with the M5 chip and its 10-core GPU and CPU is a beast. It’s like a MacBook Pro,

Please share your magic keyboard use cases and experience
For me I find it turns the iPad into just enough of a MacBook replacement that if I’m traveling I only bring my iPad and Magic Keyboard. I can accomplish 95% of what I need to get done, albeit sometimes a bit more clumsily. For me the biggest limitations on the iPads productivity are the apps themse

11” vs 13”
Sounds like you have all the reasons to switch to an 11. I went from an iPad Pro 11 m4 to an iPad Pro 13 m5. For me the size difference was worth it. Although I loved to portability of the 11, I always felt like I was compromising on things that felt important to me from a bigger writing surface, be

Picking up a Pro. Couple of questions
OK, could easily write a reply as long as your post (which was a great length, good detail, thanks, but my long replies? Not so much…) but instead, quick answers: (1) I’ve always had the smaller iPads, currently on an M4 Pro 11”. Never feel like I miss out on screen real estate, but on rare occasion
