iOS 27 to Focus on Bug Fixes, Performance, and Design Tweaks
Apple knew what they were doing, made the UI rendering more processor intensive so you are forced to buy the next version of their new iPad. Hardware wise M5 is a leap from M4, and much faster than M3.. 2.5x faster than M1. My M1 iPad pro now lags and the battery life is bad. My 15PM has the same pr

Apple May Drop Base $599 MacBook Neo as Chip, DRAM Costs Climb
I made the slight mistake of not getting enough RAM for my creative work on my MacBook Pro with M4P base Coming from an iPad Pro M4, I’m thinking I’m already spending enough, haven’t worked on a computer to know what I need. But turns out there’s a lot of bloat in creative software, especially Adobe

All liquid glass did was make everything blurry and i'm not sure why apple did that
i remember back in 2011 when some dude at the Apple Store was screaming at some poor dude that the memory management in macOS was “bad.” the poor genius literally could do nothing. the fact is OS 16 sucks and no one likes it. moreover the little stunt has tanked performance and, wait for it, memory

From iPad Pro 11 M4 to MacBook Neo?
I've been an iPad user since the beginning and have owned almost every version of the Pro. I spent years trying to make it my ultimate productivity device, but even with the updates in iPadOS 26, work still feels forced. Things are just easier, faster, and more efficient on macOS. The MacBook Neo is

Full Screen Multitasking Megathread
The fact that we're just about 2 months away from the announcement of iPadOS 27, while 26 is still a steaming pile of crap, is just insane to me. I've never used my iPad less than with 26, with, of course, the Multitasking being the main culprit, in combination with countless bugs, stutters and free

Made iPhone 2x smooth again on 26.4.2 | Works 100%
You can absolutely share your opinion, but after updating all the Apple devices around me to the 26series OS, every single one of them started having performance issues. I have 17 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max, Apple Watch Ultra, iPad Pro, and M4 MacBook Pro 16, and they were all upgraded from older systems (

Considering Upgrading my IPad from M1 IPad Pro that i bought 5 years ago to the M5 chip iPad Pro for multiple reasons other than emulation
Emulation on iOS is fun, but I would not buy a new iOS device specifically for emulation. There are better devices that are significantly cheaper to do a better job. I know that’s not your only reason for updating, but I still have a M1 iPad Pro that still runs flawlessly. No reason to upgrade my op

Anyone here have a more "Pro" Mac and still bought a Neo?
I have a MacBook Pro M4 Max with 128gb of RAM and the 8TB SSD. I also had an iPad Pro as an EDC with a Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, but ended up trading in the iPad Pro for the Neo because TBH, there are just some things I really couldn't do with the iPad Pro that I can do on the MacBook Neo, su

what is the point of ipad pro vs neo other than media consumption and creators?
To me, none, power wise. If Apple made an iPad with a top tier screen and speakers and Face ID, I would buy that. The m4 is utterly wasted on my use case (video and reading, some light gaming.)

Buyer's Remorse...
TBH, even if you found the perfect screen protector + nibs combo, there are also many other reasons making me gave up writing on it (iPad Pro M4 here): It warms up when writing (especially if you use the iPad air), it's really bad for me coz my hands sweat a lot. Matte screen protectors make the scr
