Apple May Drop Base $599 MacBook Neo as Chip, DRAM Costs Climb
I made the slight mistake of not getting enough RAM for my creative work on my MacBook Pro with M4P base Coming from an iPad Pro M4, I’m thinking I’m already spending enough, haven’t worked on a computer to know what I need. But turns out there’s a lot of bloat in creative software, especially Adobe

iPhone Loyalty Hits 96.4% as Android Users Four Times More Likely to Switch
For me, I'll never buy an iPhone. I love my Mac though, but I won't buy an iOS device anymore. I bought an iPod Touch, and Apple made the device terribly slow with iOS 7. After that I bought an iPad Pro 9,7" and it bricked after an iOS upgrade. I don't remember which one. After repairing it in the s

do you feel like your iPad usage comes in phases?
I'm the inverse. whenever I have both, I neglect the shit out of one and use the ot her 90% of the time. I finally sold my iPad Pro, my Macbook Pro is just more enjoyable to use outside of laying on my couch. I did iPad only for 6 months or so, but I felt like I needed more.

Considering Upgrading my IPad from M1 IPad Pro that i bought 5 years ago to the M5 chip iPad Pro for multiple reasons other than emulation
Emulation on iOS is fun, but I would not buy a new iOS device specifically for emulation. There are better devices that are significantly cheaper to do a better job. I know that’s not your only reason for updating, but I still have a M1 iPad Pro that still runs flawlessly. No reason to upgrade my op

is my ipad the problem??
Apple spent more resources fixing issues in iOS 26 compared to iPadOS 26 since launch (both launched with an array of issues and, being the flagship product, the iPhone is prioritized higher on fixed, with iPad receiving barely any specific fixes beyond trickle-down ones), which is why I'd unfortuna

Is OLED burn-in a significant risk with the newer iPad Pro models? Is the Air better for screen longevity?
Because lots here on reddit don't seem to believe burn-in is still possible on OLED LOL. Just less likely with improved OLED panels but as you can see here definitely possible even on latest tandem OLED panels. Here's an example of some really bad burn-in on an OLED iPad iPad Pro M4 signs of burn-in

Did Astropad discontinue the DarkBoard?
That seems absolutely worthless! That was the great thing about the Darkboard, if I broke my 1500 dollar iPad Pro over the sketchboard I’d be murderous!

John Ternus becomes Apple's CEO, what changes are we gonna see on the iPad?
I just thought of this by reading comments; iPad Mini, iPad Neo, iPad Air, iPad Studio. And since the Air is most of what the Pro is these days, just divide the iPad Pro lineup amongst the Air and Studio, kill the Pro line, make the Airs better, and throw everything at the Studio.

M4 iPad Air has more memory than iPad Pro m4
Apple used defective memory chips for the M4 iPad Pro and they disabled the 4GB so its a perfectly fine 8GB ram instead of a defective 12GB, this saves them money

Backmarket is Changing
I bought an iPad Pro that hasn’t been refurbished. Its screen won’t click properly, its battery drains in chunks instead of a slow descend, and it lags as if it doesn’t have 4GB of good memory. I was offered a refund but why not a replacement unit? What reason are is BackMarket giving me to return as
