Stage manager works amazing on the mini 7. It’s a shame Apple doesn’t officially support it.
Currently using Stage Manager on my mini 7 with an external display, keyboard & mouse. Didn’t realize how useful this feature is. Now I’m debating returning for an iPad Air, even though it’s a little bigger. Or, never updating my mini 7, because this Stage Manager “tweak” was patched out in ipadOS 1

Bring laptop or invest in mini tablet?
EDIT — Corrected some wrong info, and gave links to relevant information to "prove" it correct. —————————— Oh boy, I love tech. Don't mind my comment, but tldr; I'd go to the Apple store and see if you can experiment with Lightroom/CapCut to see if it'd work for your use case. Tbh I had very little

Do you have a screen protector on your iPad and do you use an Apple Pencil? Why or why not?
Yeah, a matte one, iPad mini A17 Pro, Pencil USB-C. I make notebooks on Preview (with a PDF legal pad template). Currently waiting for one that is actually gritty like paper. Don't care if I wear out nibs, Apple makes more. It matches my on the go system of literal pen and A5 paper. Scan and load in

Thinking of changing to mini. Should I go iPad mini A17 Pro or stay with iPad A16?
EDIT: if your current iPad still works, I agree with other posters wait for the fall OLED MINI … good sources support the rumors. You can start saving up $100 15% percent off Apple gift cards between now and then and essentially wipe up the rumored $100 price increase! I think it’s worth the extra $

Choosing a iPad
I have an iPad mini a17 pro 512GB 5G and an iPad Air M1 256GB 5G with keyboard. I use the mini most of the time. Thinking about upgrading my Air to the Air M4. 120Hz is not a must for me. It’s more for on the road so I don’t need to take my MBP with me.

Why do I have to keep reconnecting my apple pencil usb-c using a cable?
I finally fixed the problem. I had constant problems with my Apple Pencil USB-C losing connection with my iPad Mini 7 despite trying all the suggested fixes. The next time a system update became available I connected my pencil to my iPad and left it connected while installing the update. Apparently

Gamesir g8+ mfi with iPad mini 7 volume button issues
If you get a slim case that requires a little more effort for the volume buttons it will work. Such as this one Telaso for iPad mini 7 A17 Pro... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FLQ6CQNX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

iPad Air M1 to iPad Mini A17 Pro
Planning on getting the Mini 7, I currently have the iPad Air 5. I know M1 is more powerful but I just don’t feel using it that much maybe because it’s too big. Is it worth choosing the right size over the CPU?
And also to add, since the size of iPad Mini is close to the size of a Pro Max, I’m thin
