15 Pro here, I have better performance on iPad Air M1 than the iPhone, I guess having desktop grade graphics is still more preferred than mobile grade graphic processor. Really looking forward to see how DE optimised for Android, as the Android market is pretty... diverse in term of hardwares.

iPad Air has M processor, 8GB RAM, Apple Pencil 2 support, laminated display with better colour support and anti-reflective coating, and the ability to use Apple Stage Manager on an external display. Even a refurbished M1 iPad Air (direct from Apple online store) is better than the recent base iPad.

IPad Air is never getting oled screen, you have a choice between oled in pro or 60hz in iPad Air , the difference is in £€$ hard cash . M5 iPad Pro & m4 iPad Air both have 12GB it’s a simple choice to pay a lot more for premium oled screen or ipad Air IPad Air is mid price because it doesn’t have ol

For digital art, the iPad Air line with the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen will be better than the USB-C Pencil, because it has pressure sensitivity. However, you said you could get an adapter for your current pencil… does that mean you have the 1st generation Lightning pencil with pressure sensitivity? If so

Get the air. More future proof and has a much better screen. I traded my a16 with m1 iPad Air from how bad the glare on the a16’s screen was. A non laminated display (which is in the a16 iPad) is also worse for drawing.

I used to have iPad Air 1 last year, and yes. The laminated and anti-reflective coating alone will make the image less reflective under bright lights. not only that, blacks are deeper whites are lighter in contrast on the laminated ones like in the Air 2 and newer compared to iPad 11 and iPad Air 1.

If you have WiFi 7 and want maximum speed, M4 12GB ram 11” or 13” is perfect, you could easily get 10 years from this device, divide price by 10 and see what you would pay for each year , fantastic device and will keep a really good value also . I use m1 iPad Air for everyday use and it’s a beast of

For what it’s worth… I’m 75 and move between my largish iPhone, my iPad Air and my M1 desktop Mac. I have a physical keyboard for my iPad but rarely need it. For documents I need to see well or heavy typing I use the desktop; I also take Zoom language lessons on it and my tutor raises the font size

Someone already said this but we need to say it again because it’s the most important Make sure that the software you use to work is compatible with iPad os. And if the usability of that software is ok. If it’s not check the possibility of using a iPad app or (oh god) a web based app Once you find y

Hi! I love these devices I hope I can help. I do not recommend the regular iPads 10th/11th (even more because of your area of interest), I genuinely hate em. I recommend a refurbished or If you could find a new, good priced iPad Air 5-7 (chips M1, M2 and M3) This way you could even find a bigger cap
