What are the best iPads widely used by students right now?
Honestly, get any iPad with an M chip in it. The general consensus seems to be that iPadOS isn’t even really capable of using the full power of it, and I’ve found that to be true. My iPad Air 5 with the M1 has never shown any signs of slowing down and I am consistently multitasking. My recommendatio

Is updating my iPad Air 5th Gen (2022) to iPadOS 26 worth it in 2026 ?
Of course it’s worth it , my m1 iPad Air is on fire on ios26 , 1000% the best this device has ever been, still an overpowered beast of a device and ios26 could not have been any more perfect for my fairly basic everyday usage ,have used developer beta since first AI previews dropped for usa only so

Help deciding which iPad to buy
I’d go for the iPad Air 13” M3 256GB WiFi + Cellular ($750). It’s the newest/most future-proof with M3 chip, great for school apps, note-taking (full Apple Pencil Pro support), and multitasking with your 70GB+ stuff. Bigger screen than your current Air 5, 256GB solves storage, cellular adds flexibil

New iPad Air 5th gen M1
That's a solid deal. I had the same model and the M1 is pretty fast with plenty of memory for multitasking. The major downside of this model is the cheap non-OLED display but honestly at that price who cares. It's still a fairly bright 500 nits panel with good colors although black will be more grey

Portable ir hybrid tablet suggestions?
This does not have a good battery life, and is not as portable as you think. That being said, if you keep this plugged in wherever you use it, it's a full-blown Windows PC workhorse with a decent pen for artwork. Personally, I've have a Surface Pro 11, with recent adreno gpu drivers for Snapdragon X

People who bought 60hz screen ipad (base/air) for drawing/note taking, do you regret it?
I bought the iPad Air 5 (the M1 Air) with 256 GB to take notes or do homework for engineering school. Maybe the 120 hz display would make a difference in writing or drawing fast, but I find 60 hz a relatively smooth experience overall, despite having a 120 hz iPhone at all times. I got the iPad Air

2025 ipad a16 or 2022 ipad air 5?
But also take a look into the available apple pencils. I got a pencil gen 2 for my air shortly after I got the iPad and it’s cool. But the pencil pro has a few more features and the 2022 air does not support the pro pencil. Every iPad model only supports two of the 4 different apple pencils. It’s st

Ipad air 5 or Ipad 11th gen (cons)
I can’t speak for the M1 Air specifically but I can say I have an M2 Pro and against my wife’s 11th Gen my iPad feels so much better. If you’re not doing side-by-side comparisons then for your use either will be great though. With my wife’s 11th Gen it really is a nice device, but my Pro is 3 years

Please what iPad should I get that’s good for art/note taking and not too expensive?
Avoid 4 generation , any M chip from iPad Air 5 upwards, i use m1 iPad Air and its a fantastic device, future proof and will handle and A.I. And siri upgrades no problem

iPad Air 4th gen going into 2026?
For that price, I would say it’s really not bad. Although you have to consider the condition of the keyboard since they show wear really badly even if they’re relatively new. For $300, it’ll be like choosing between that and a brand new base iPad (A16), so if the keyboard is important for you, go fo
