I sincerely believe the iPad Air never makes sense. Budget: Base iPad. Pro: iPad Pro. What do you think?

Switched from a base iPad to an iPad Air M3 13" and it's been night and day. The Pro is overpriced to me. Got the Pro feels and power for cheaper.

Made iPhone 2x smooth again on 26.4.2 | Works 100%

It only was bad for some, the majority didn’t experience any problems, but you’ll only see people here complaining, the ones who has a flawless experience obviously won’t be here complaining. Me myself haven’t experienced any problems at all on either my iPhone Air and previous one 16 Pro max, iPad

Is there any reason to get an iPad m4 air instead of the cheaper iPad m3 air?

Unless the price difference is small, I’d just get the older iPad Air M3. The newer iPad Air M4 is a bit faster, but for normal stuff like browsing, notes, streaming, or light work, you probably won’t notice the difference.

Sidecar: Do you use it? How? Are you satisfied with what it does and with how it works? Are you missing something?

When traveling for work, it serves as an iPad on the flight (unless I need to get actual work done on the flight). When I arrive, it serves as my second monitor. I'll use the magsafe port on my MacBook Air to power the laptop, then USB-C from MacBook Thunderbolt port to iPad charging port. Unless I'

How’s your iPhone 14 Pro holding up in 2025

It’s doing great. Also the camera is very good and I do not miss at all Apple intelligence (I have an iPad Air M3 and frankly I disabled all the AI features). I’ve replaced the battery 1 months ago and it’s snappier than ever. Only minor complaint is that is my last device without usb-c. But hot is

Which iPad currently offers the best combo of affordability and anticipated longevity?

The answer to your question is iPad Air M3 11 inch $449 on sale right now. M3 chip will likely last longer than A16 or A17. All iPads have at least 5 years of software support from the time of release so if $449 is too much for you, the base iPad at $274 right now will get you to 2030. I won’t say “

Need help deciding iPad

Based from your needs it looks like all of those can be handled by the iPad A16-11. But looks like you’re really eyeing out on the pro model. Another suggestion is to just go in the middle which is the iPad air. You don’t even have to go for the M4, the ipad air M3 is enough for the needs you mentio

Buyer's remorse: Choosing iPad A16 over Air M3

For your use case, I don’t see you benefiting at all from m3 air. Sure you can look at the specs and say it’s better, because it is.. but you’re not even going to be pushing your a16 anywhere near its limits, let alone an m chip iPad. I’d just use it and enjoy it, plus you have double the storage! (
