I tried to use a HomePod Mini with a Mac and the latency was intense. Maybe it was the OS, I don’t know, but I ended up going with traditional wired monitors.

The Apple TV 4K with Ethernet (128gb) is the one to get. It has a thread border router and you can connect it directly to your router creating a much more stable network for you devices. I absolutely agree... "Don't really think it's a HomePod processing issue, since they can respond instantly after the first request is made..
