Apple TV vs HomePod Mini as Thread Border Router
Assuming we’re speaking about an Apple TV model with Thread: Wired Apple TV > Apple TV over WiFi > HomePod mini Ethernet stability combined with the better processor will always make a wired Apple TV the best option.

What’s everyone doing for Bluetooth?
My suggestion is to be comfortable with it not working great 100% of the time You’ll notice even on the new models with built-in CarPlay people complain all the time. I can’t even get my iPhone to consistently connect and play music on my HomePod mini at home. The state of music wirelessly without i

My M4 Mac mini setup
I tried to use a HomePod Mini with a Mac and the latency was intense. Maybe it was the OS, I don’t know, but I ended up going with traditional wired monitors.

Stereo HomePods are stupid laggy and slow down my WiFi?!
2 Gen 2s. One Gen 1 for my bedroom, and one HomePod Mini in my bathroom. The Gen 2s are the ONLY ones giving me issues. I will say this. They never had a single issue from this day until a days ago. All my other HomePods worked without issue

Apple TV or HomePod mini
The Apple TV 4K with Ethernet (128gb) is the one to get. It has a thread border router and you can connect it directly to your router creating a much more stable network for you devices. However the HomePod mini also has a thread border router but isn’t as stable. Just make sure to got into the home

New Apple TV and HomePod Mini Remain 'Ready' to Launch
I have a feeling it will get whatever aWatch chip is cheapest for them to throw in there and if you want Apple Intelligence, then you need to pony up for that new iPad with a HomePod thing. No way it gets any kind of worthwhile processor. Likely a tiny bump to the speaker or mic quality, mostly thru

Apple TV vs HomePod Mini as Thread Border Router
I have a HomePod mini at the moment but when the new Apple TV comes out I’ll switch to that as it is wired more stable

Siri requests speed response - iPhone v HomePod
I absolutely agree... "Don't really think it's a HomePod processing issue, since they can respond instantly after the first request is made.. So not sure if an upgraded processor in the (soon to be released) HomePod mini 2 is going to change things. It's like the HomePods disconnect from the HomeKit

The HomePod mini is my worst tech purchase
I have five of them. I bought a bunch with the hope that they would get better with time… which they didn’t. The Minis are THE worst tech purchases I have ever made. It is the only Apple product I’ve seen that consistently gets worse with every software update. The hardware, the looks, the design is
