Longtime Android user finally gave in to the Apple ecosystem – and I’m kind of blown away

I’ve always been an Android user. The only time I tried iPhone was back in the iPhone 5 days, and honestly, I couldn’t stand the walled garden restrictions. After that, I kept hopping between different Android phones, with my most recent daily driver being a Samsung S22 Ultra. Solid phone, but after

Sound quality test IP17 vs IPod

I did a quick test out of curiosity…

iPhone 17 Pro + AirPods Pro 3 iPod Classic 5.5 (Wolfson DAC) + £20 Apple wired earbuds

The AirPods Pro 3 obviously win on ANC and low-end fullness, but tonally the wired setup isn’t far behind. A lot of micro-detail and clarity are still there. Paranoid Android

AirPods Pro 3 Review: The GOAT. | ben's gadget reviews

I've thought the AirPods Pro 2 were the best wireless earbuds on the market for the last year, and the AirPods Pro 3 bring improvements like longer battery life, much better mics, and slightly better ANC! (yeah, Apple's claims of "2X better ANC", I don't agree... I'd say it's like 10% better ANC).

Improved precision finding with AirPods Pro 3 ONLY works with iPhone 17 series

“Improved” Precision Finding with the U2 chip is just an enhanced version of what already exists in “standard” Precision Finding with the U1 chip. APP3 precision finding will still work with older iPhones, it just won’t be “improved” like it would be on the new iPhones. The full capabilities of the

What do you think Apple’s next big step for AirPods will be — H3 chip, better sound quality, or new features?

I noticed that the newly announced AirPods Pro 3 didn’t come with a chip upgrade—it’s still running on the H2, even though the noise cancellation has improved. There are also rumors that Apple might release a 10th-anniversary AirPods next year, possibly with a built-in camera. If that’s true, maybe

Hartslagmeter

Apple AirPods Pro 3 – What’s Actually New vs. Older Models? (2025)

According to the article this new protocol make use of Apple’s C1X modem and A19 Pro chip. So i guess currents iPad Pro/Apple TV will use Bluetooth as before So i guess APP3 over iPhone 17 should sound "better" with loseless audio but we have no benchmark yet

Should I bother with (Costco) hearing aids?

If you are an iPhone person and have mild loss, then AirPods Pro 3’s are probably perfect for you. You can scan in the audiogram that you got and have them tuned to your hearing. I started on them and they still are my backup pair even though my loss is severe in spots.

Is there an iPod mod compatible with AirPods Pro2?

The only adapter that I've found that works properly with AAP2s (and I imagine APP3s) is the Kokkia i10 Pro (the Pro part is important - there are different versions). It works both with stock iPod OS and Rockbox. It lets you control Play/Pause/Next/Previous/Volume from the APP2s as well as from the
