AirPods Pro (2nd Gen, 2023)

I’ve used my AirPods Pro 2 all day (7+ hours) almost every day for about a year and a half. For $249 that’s insane value for money and you bet I will be getting these in a heartbeat.

I a skipped AirPods Pro 2, since my 1s still worked quite well but now they are 4 or so years old. The battery still works for all the duration I need it to, but it'll probably fall below that threshold in the next year or so, and so new models would be very welcome!

The APP3 are a true upgrade over the APP2. Measurably better ANC, different tuned audio, and more battery life out of the earbuds. All of that with the same H2 chip. It’s not like a new chip automatically means a new “full” generation. These are the third generation AirPods Pro, not the Pro 2.5.
