Tried the AirPods Max here at a store in Sydney. Here’s a quick very subjective review with the Bose NC700 as a comparison.

Noise Cancellation:

The Max is maybe 25% better at noise cancellation. Genuinely quieter than the Bose. It feels it’s partially due to the headphones cupping your ears more

It’s a workaround to Apple’s design flaw, but I use a magnetic charging dock (I.e. you put a small magnetic dongle into the lightning/USB-C port on the APM and then they snap in easily into a dock to charge kind of like MagSafe) Looks nice, it’s easy to grab and go, and it ensures they’re always top
