The hood of my M3 has something dried inside of it, and it really stinks of plastic.
I have personally experienced this before on used machines. Here’s what worked for me: Fill the hood with hot, concentrated Mean Green and let it soak for a while. After that, buff it out with Meguiar’s PlastX — the kind made for restoring cloudy headlights. Honestly, treat it just like a cloudy car

I am done with Anycubic
I can’t speak for the S1 combo. Mixed bag here. Initially - I bought a refurbed Anycubic Mono M5s Pro, resin leak newb error, they wanted parts shipped from China and tariffs were in full effect so it wasn’t worth repairing. I stripped it down salvaged the UV array and use it as a cure light. Anycub

Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra vs Anycubic Photon Mono M7
I own the m5s pro and the ultra 16k. Two things that set apart the ultra for me. Tank heater, wireless environment. Both need to be leveled. Both printed great to start, but after about a year the m5s prints but gives all kinds of issues that I think are related to issues with the Z axis that I have
