No. You can get a Bambu A1 mini for this price, or an Anycubic Kobra X for about $50 more. Those both come with a lot of features that make printing a lot easier. Also a warranty

Keep in mind you’re essentially a beta tester with the Kobra X, its initial presentation might look promising but it’s not proven long term. My personal experience with Anycubic has not been reliable or trustworthy. After a Kobra 2 and a Kobra S1, I wouldn’t trust anything they make anymore. They’re

You can download Makerworld models and use them on Anycubic's slicer, Anycubic Slicer Next. I recommend using the slicer for best results and total control over the quality and rigidity of your print. Anycubic also offers its own library of STL and 3MF files on their MakerOnline website, which you c

Anycubic is releasing this Kobra 4 to reduce the cost and complexity of assembling and repairing the Ace Gen 2 print head on the Kobra X. This way, they can sell it at a lower price for single-color, while the Ace 2 Pro will be required for multi-color. Other than that, there are no other improvemen

This is more than enough for a good printer. If money is really an issue (like you are looking for recommendations closer to the $400 end), I would get him either of the following along with some cash to buy filament: Anycubic Kobra X, if printing in multiple colors is the most important Elegoo Cent

I own both. Facts: Print quality is similar, Kobra X multicolor is a little faster and a little more efficient. Opinions: Bambu Studio is better; Anycubic Slicer Next is what you get if you shoot Bambu Studio with a Bizarro Ray. Makerworld is much better in that it's more mature, but it's free regar

So far, honestly, my experience with the Kobra X has been very positive. I was a bit cautious at first too, mainly because Anycubic’s older reputation made me expect some headaches after the first weeks, but this machine has actually surprised me in a good way. It’s been reliable, prints consistentl

Personally, I don’t think Anycubic will be releasing a multi-tool printer anytime soon. I suspect they’ll focus on the ACEGen2 for now and bring it to other platforms. After all, the goal is to make money, so they’ll want to recoup their development costs first. But then again, the Kobra X was quite

My advice is delay your purchase until you can purchase Prusa or Bambu Labs printers. AnyCubic Kobra X for a low cost printer is decent, and this could be a good option too. If you’re brand new, Bambu Labs just makes such simple printers to use that it’s hard not to suggest them.
