New M5 MacBook is great but powering my phone from it kills the battery

You probably want something like the anker prime 220w battery. I use it for basically the same setup and can charge both my Mac and phone at full speed at the same time. The nice part is it also recharges pretty fast if you do find an outlet, so you can top it up during lunch or whatever.

My phone dies before my shift ends and its costing me money

You need two things honestly. A decent PD car charger for when you're driving, and a power bank for when you're parked or between rides. I keep an anker prime 220w power bank in my center console and top off during lunch breaks. The screen on it shows real time wattage so I can see exactly whats goi

do airlines in asia actually check your power banks at the gate

What bank do you have? I bring an anker prime 220w power bank on every trip, the wukong edition specifically because it has CCC certification on the label which covers asia pacific. Never had an issue across maybe 30 flights in asia. Only time I saw someone get stopped was a dude with a no name bank

Powerbank needs Apple watch, Iphone 17 pro

I’m using an anker prime 220w powerbank and it’s been super handy for my iphone and Apple watch. Three ports makes life easy. You know how the Apple watch needs daily charging. I’ve definitely forgotten before heading out, and just tossing the power bank in my bag for a quick top-up has saved me mor

can I bring a power bank on a plane

Check the Wh rating on your bank, should be printed on the label. As long as it's under 100Wh you're totally fine. My anker prime 220w power bank is 72Wh and I've flown with it dozens of times, never had a single issue.

YSK power banks arent banned on flights, theres just a watt-hour limit

Lunchbox is a stretch lol. My Anker Prime 220w is 72Wh / 20000mAh and its just a long bar shape, like two packs of cigarettes end to end. I wrap my hand around the whole thing. Fits in my coat pocket no problem, took it through TSA like 10 times with zero issues. The old 100Wh bricks were huge but a
