New M5 MacBook is great but powering my phone from it kills the battery

You probably want something like the anker prime 220w battery. I use it for basically the same setup and can charge both my Mac and phone at full speed at the same time. The nice part is it also recharges pretty fast if you do find an outlet, so you can top it up during lunch or whatever.

Is it worth getting a portable power station for photography on longer trips

I picked up the ANKER Prime Power Bank, 20,100mAh 3-Port Portable Charger with 220W Max Output a while back when it was on sale at Amazon. It’s nice and should be able to charge a bunch of devices. Although I don’t have one personally, where I used to work we had flexible roll-up solar panels that w

Why does filming video drain phone battery so much faster than anything else

I make videos on my phone and just film with my Anker Prime 220W battery connected now. 140w port so it outpaces the drain easily, phone actually gains charge while shooting 4K. Keep it in my pocket with a short cable and don't think about battery anymore

20,000 mAh - 100w or 65w Powerbank?

I’m actually using the anker prime 220w myself, and for playing outside, it’s been solid. The Legion can pull close to 100W, I like having the extra headroom. I usually play while charging, and this thing keeps up just fine. Definitely helps stretch game time when you’re always on the road.

Lightweight powerbank for occasional usage

I’m in coffee shops all the time too and work from Starbucks. I usually bring my anker prime 220W power bank with me and use it for my Macbook Air. It fits right into my laptop bag, the capacity is plenty, and it charges fast. I can easily keep working for a couple more hours without worrying about

Phone Charging

I'd highly recommend the Anker Prime 220W. I use this exact one all the time, its incredibly compact but holds 20,100mAh, which easily gives you about 4 full phone charges. the best part is, if you stop at a cafe or plug into shore power, it recharges to 50% in just 25 minutes. Absolute lifesaver for
