I built my first pc it was not as expected

To preface I bought a Hyte Y70 case on a whim and ended up down the rabbit hole of building my first pc. I had researched parts for years but finally took the dive when I got this case. My main goal was a pc that could handle 1440p gaming.

Specs CPU - Ryzen 7 9700x GPU - Sapphire Pulse Radeon AMD

Bought a Ryzen 5 2600 a week ago, wanted to share how it performs in Planetside 2 on very low and ultra incase anyone is looking to buy one. (Also including rig details + prices for the components)

Intro

Hello.

So when I was researching which CPU to buy to upgrade from my 6 year old AMD FX 8120 processor, I didn't really see any posts in regards to the Ryzen 5 2600 and its performance on Planetside 2, so I wanted to share what I've seen regarding performance ingame with this processor incase

I'm ready to buy tomorrow, is this a good deal?

I hope you've not already bought this, as I think you're overpaying for some items, including the SSD and PSU, I'd personally go for the below, which is cheaper and you have a bump up in GPU, PSU (Still A-tier) and it allows you to get an aftermarket CPU cooler rather than relying on the AMD Wraith

9070xt or 5070ti? 7800x3d or 9800x3d? I feel like this question encompasses 90% of the questions on this sub...

Awesome — here’s a no-nonsense $1,200 gaming rig for the U.S. right now that crushes 1440p, with two GPU paths depending on whether you want NVIDIA’s DLSS/ray-tracing edge or the best raw frames per dollar. Build (AM5 platform, upgrade-friendly) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (includes cooler) — ~$200. Excel

Requesting Build Upgrade Review

First thing that jumps out is the psu. Do not reuse your psu, its row 553, 554, or 555 in the main list, which have a high chance of being dangerous/firestarters. C-tier would be fine for an igpu build or with a lower tier gpu. The bx crucial ssds aren't that great, but in this market you can't real

Should Processors still come with stock coolers?

I agree, they are just fine for their paired cpus. But during warm days the cpu will still hit 85-90 degrees and limit boost clock. And it is not a very pretty cooler, even if it's way better looking than the stock intel imo, which should not matter much but with almost every case today having a glass

1440p 9070xt build. Any improvement?

right sorry I edited the pricing for it, 104 usd. The difference is around 3k egp since i can’t find mpk for 7600x, while i found 7600 mpk with the amd wraith stealth cooler, which i heard is enough for it. I couldn’t find these monitors here in Egypt, but i found ViewSonic VX2756 27” 180Hz for 142

My first ever PC build

I’m using the AMD wraith stealth that came with the CPU. Probably will swap it out when I’ve got the cash.
