So when I was researching which CPU to buy to upgrade from my 6 year old AMD FX 8120 processor, I didn't really see any posts in regards to the Ryzen 5 2600 and its performance on Planetside 2, so I wanted to share what I've seen regarding performance ingame with this processor incase

I hope you've not already bought this, as I think you're overpaying for some items, including the SSD and PSU, I'd personally go for the below, which is cheaper and you have a bump up in GPU, PSU (Still A-tier) and it allows you to get an aftermarket CPU cooler rather than relying on the AMD Wraith

right sorry I edited the pricing for it, 104 usd. The difference is around 3k egp since i can’t find mpk for 7600x, while i found 7600 mpk with the amd wraith stealth cooler, which i heard is enough for it. I couldn’t find these monitors here in Egypt, but i found ViewSonic VX2756 27” 180Hz for 142

I’m using the AMD wraith stealth that came with the CPU. Probably will swap it out when I’ve got the cash.

How about this on AM5? If they plan on playing shooters/rts/city builders games etc then you can pick up a 7800x3d OEM new for £250 on eBay. You'll need a CPU cooler with this for an extra ~£20-40.
