AMD. 9800X3D reicht. Auch beim RAM bin ich mir n

Time to upgrade. I built a PC when the 1080ti was the best, but it’s struggling now. Budget 2500-3000

That money won't go as far as it would have 6/8 months ago but I'd look for a 7800X3D/9800X3D/9850X3D bundle at microcenter or newegg. 5070ti or 5080. 9070xt if you want to try out AMD and save a decent amount. 32GB of DDR5 6000 is around $300 still I think. All storage is absolute chaos, start with

Our testing shows the Ryzen 7 9800X3D can match the pricier Ryzen 7 9850X3D with simple PBO settings — AMD's latest CPU can't leverage extra clock speed in games

TLDR:"We retested the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 9850X3D with PBO turned on and a positive 200MHz boost clock override for both CPUs, to see how that impacted gaming performance, efficiency, and clock speeds. In short, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D can make up the thin margin between it and the Ryzen 7 9850X3D. AMD’

My first all Noctua cooling build.

This PC has a Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU, with an ASUS Noctua 5080 GPU. I have a 2x16g crucial OC DDR5 RAM running at 6000, as well as a gen 5 Samsung 9100 4 TB m.2 ssd, a Corsair RM1000x PSU, all on a ASUS Prime X870-P WiFi mobo. My cpu cooler is the NH-D15 G2 LBC, and my Antec C8 Wood case features four

Building a PC before prices get any higher, hoping for feedback

A few thoughts: For gaming, there’s no benefit to paying more for an X870 chipset over B850. You’re paying for extra data lanes that have no use in gaming. Both boards have PCIe 5 to the first x16 slot, so there’s your possible future use. If you’re gaming, no point to an HDD unless you’re playing g

First high-end gaming PC build for ~$8000 CAD — White Aesthetic — Need advices.

For an $8000 CAD PC I would go a bit higher end with a 9850X3D + RTX 5090. It's not a budget where we have to look for what's the most economy. I've chosen B850 over X870 because X870 will often show down the graphics card if you ever install additional SSDs. From Gigabyte's own site: * The M2B_CPU

[Build Request] First PC for 1440p, Streaming, and Heavy Emulation (PS3/PS4/Switch) — Need Peripherals

Here's your build. With RAM, storage, and GPU prices being through the roof, this is the best I can do. A 5080 can make sense if you want to do 4K gaming, or just want the best card of this generation that costs under $4000. It has a 15% uplift over 5070Ti and currently costs $1256.99. For 1440p, go

Any suggestions for my first ever build?

Do you already have the storage drives shown in your list? I would recommend having more SSD storage - HDD are really only good for media storage, or with really old games. You can get more for your money, as some components are expensive for no real benefit (assuming the build is for gaming). Sugge
