The Cheese Grater

It's a divisive case. Yes, you can grate cheese with it. Yes, it causes Trypophobia. Yes, I adore it immensely.

[Meta] Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary is released ($500). Sold out except Canada Computers (Back Order only)

You could get a 7600X3D + 2TB SN850X for this price. You can get a 9800X3D on sale for $500 too, lol. It's nice it's back. But it's really shitty of AMD to scalp an old processor, to make up for the fact people can save on AM4

Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the GOAT

I do not know what voodoo AMD did with this chip but they need to go back and look at their other chips and make the change.

First this chip is designed to be and delivered on being a gaming BEAST. It punches way above it's weight class. I know it is not as powerful as other offerings for productiv

My Bro is buying a PC. He's selected the parts himself but I just wanted to know whether what he has selected is really going to be worth it because I know jack all about PCs. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it. I want to avoid him spending 3k on this thing if possible.

He should not get a 5950x unless he specifically needs that amount of cores (probably not). That has 16 cores and is beat in gaming performance by the i9 12900k and r7 5800x3d He should not buy a 2.5gb ethernet card unless he has internet faster than 1gb (probably not) or he does network transfers.

DDR4 shootout!! 14700KF vs 5800X3D in high CPU-usage Ray-Traced games

Intel's certainly is the degradation issue. It consumes more power also, but I don't think the difference is that relevant here, compared to the even higher clocked and overvolted i9 13-14th gen chips. Then you need Z790 to unlock all options for 14700KF, so I got the cheapest Z790 which doesn't hav

My AMD Build

First ever pc build and after owning this thing the past 3 months or so, I couldn’t be happier. Adrenaline is an absolute mess so I had to use DDU and then reinstall drivers only, but ever since then this thing runs like a dream and I’ve never seen temps over 78 C on my gpu or cpu.

New System with AMD 9800x3D same Performance as old System with 5800x (especially in World of Warcraft)

Hey there,

So because WoW is heavy demanding right now, and I've got low fps (Around 25-40 in raids and 35-80 in Dornogal) I decided to upgrade to a new 9800x3D, because WoW is a heavy CPU intensive game.
Because I always gift my old PC (except GPU) to friends, I bought a complete new System.

Advice for DDR4 Gaming build - AMD4 or Intel?

If you want to jump up to 1440p just get a 9070 or 9070 xt and a 750w gold modular psu for the extra power bump would still keep you under $1500 spent. The pro vdh mobo has good enough vrms to handle am4 16 core cpus, so if you ever want to jump up to a 5700x3d/5800x3d that would just need a better
