Why isn't there a tablet specifically made for Digital Comic Books?
I definitely prefer reading digitally. I currently use a Fire HD 10 and you need to side load the apps to get them on there, but it generally works well especially for the price. Occasionally I’ll have an issue with a page not loading…. But everything looks good. I’ll probably go back to an iPad whe

A Question for All the Digital/Tablet Readers Out There
I read on a Fire HD 10; there's probably better tablets out there but I happened to get this on a dirt cheap sale. I just rotate it to horizontal when I'm reading a spread, which is still a bit smaller than is ideal but a bit of pinch and zoom for detailed stuff usually works fine.

Got a Kindle Fire HD 10 for $69 prime day. I rooted it, removed all the Amazon OS nonsense and now I have my perfect comic book reading device!

Why isn't there a tablet specifically made for Digital Comic Books?
I've also been using a sideloaded fire hd 10 and the cdisplay app reading from a 120gb micro sd card. It's amazing for $120 when they're on sale.

Amazon Fire HD 10? 🤔 Need opinions/reviews
I’m looking for a cheap and “simple” tablet for my 74 year old father who is living alone, getting bored & running out of things to keep him occupied at home. He has been “against TV”, so he has basically been in a house with 0 stimulation/noise for a few years now, and I’ve noticed it’s starting to

What is Actually Up with the Negativity Toward the Slate?
So I've finally received my Black Friday order, been using the i5 Slate for three full days now, and I absolutely love it and I don't understand the negative reviews about this device at all. Maybe I've just been lucky with mine, but I was ready to be a little unhappy with the general experience and

Tablet for comic reading.
I still use my Fire HD 10 that I bought dirt cheap on the Prime day sales in 2019. Works perfectly fine still. Personally I would not get any Samsungs or Ipads if you are on a tight budget. Just feels like unnecessary overkill and you pay extra just for the name alone. Maybe older Samsung models if

Samsung RS90F66BEFEU tablet usability?
honestly the family hub tablets are pretty locked down to samsung's ecosystem - you're basically stuck with their apps and whatever they decide to include. tried messing around with one at a friend's place and it's not like you can just install home assistant or custom dashboards on it that said, if

Do NOT buy a fire tablet if you don’t know how to install google play store
I got the Fire HD 10 for $80 and got the Google Play store app installed in about 30 minutes. There are good how-to videos on YouTube. Add the case with built-in keyboard and Bluetooth mouse, all in for about $140, way less than other Android tablets. It works fine for streaming, emails, surfing, pr
