Remove Amazon your tablet! (PC REQUIRED)
Above, you can see my debloated recently purchased a Kindle Fire HD 10 9th Gen from eBay that I wanted as a cheaper media consumption device. I was wondering how can I make this thing more useful and less of a crap show. Well as I was on the latest Fire OS on my device, which is 7.3.2.9, it was very

Amazon Fire HD 10? 🤔 Need opinions/reviews
I’m looking for a cheap and “simple” tablet for my 74 year old father who is living alone, getting bored & running out of things to keep him occupied at home. He has been “against TV”, so he has basically been in a house with 0 stimulation/noise for a few years now, and I’ve noticed it’s starting to

Non-root fix for laggy Switch Pro Controller (and I assume it works for joycons as well!)
Hey all, so I recently got a Switch Pro Controller and wanted to use it on my Fire HD 10 to play emulators, and I encountered the horrible input lag everyone else did. I managed to fix it using the information found on Reddit that a discord call with bluetooth headphones fixes the lag as well as set

Tablet for ComicRack
I got an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet a few years ago for this. Price was low (on sale) and screen resolution was better than some similar sized tablets. Wi-Fi sync to CRCE edition works great.

Do NOT buy a fire tablet if you don’t know how to install google play store
I got the Fire HD 10 for $80 and got the Google Play store app installed in about 30 minutes. There are good how-to videos on YouTube. Add the case with built-in keyboard and Bluetooth mouse, all in for about $140, way less than other Android tablets. It works fine for streaming, emails, surfing, pr

What are some inexpensive but comfortably large handhelds that run moonlight well?
People often overlook the Amazon Fire HD10. 10" tablet with 1080p HD screen that handles moonlight just fine. I wouldn't use it for anything else really though 😅. Goes on sale often for ~$80 then slap a USB-C or Bluetooth controller and call it a day.

Fire HD 10 (2019) is a nice incremental upgrade from
I'm content with the new usb-c, slightly snappier processor, Android 9 OS fork and new color choices. The 2017 version is still good, but the Android 5/6 OS definitely feels very outdated.
How is everyone liking their new Fire HD 10 (2019)? Any complaints or compliments?

Fire HD 8 Plus or Fire HD 10 Plus?
The regular HD 8 actually had 1.5 GB of RAM which caused sputters and buffering on my mom's. I got both of us Fire HD tablets XMAS of 2018 and my HD 10 never had those issues but her HD 8 did (even though her 8 was the newest generation / latest release model than my 10 was). I know I'm 2 years late
