Since the outage last night, I cannot play two stereo paired Echo Dot 5th gen. I cannot unpair them either. Also, my speaker groups cannot be deleted or recreated. Alexa says "Oops, something went wrong". I can't even play music in any of my groups.
Anyone else having these issues?

I did too. I was very deep in their hands and now feel very guilty about the amount of Amazon things I own (echo dots, Amazon tv, kindle) but I’ve cancelled all my subscriptions with them. I plan on just continuing using the stuff I already own without subscribing to any of their services, but the g

I’ve been using the Echo Dot Max since launch, and here’s a quick and honest review.
Alexa is much smarter now — she understands context, handles follow-up questions without the wake word, and remembers things you tell her ( i don’t like horror movies or I’m allergic to eggs). I used it mainly for

As a dad I am legally required to be obsessed with the thermostat settings /s. My HA turns off the HVAC if any exterior door/window is open for 5 minutes continuously. It then announces over my various Amazon Alexa Echo dots that “HVAC has been disabled due to an open door or window”. When all the e

I hate how everything is turning into a billboard now, too. Oh, you’ve owned your tv for two years now? Well we just ran an update to show you commercials during the “screensaver” mode. Want no ads? Well you need to pay more for that. Loud AF video ads on gas pumps. Ads on apps that you’ve used for

I’m gonna keep it 100. I thought it was an Amazon echo dot. As far as function, I think it’s an interesting concept, though you will need much brighter LEDs to simulate a sunrise.

To a degree that what Alexa always has been with the "Routines" and the "Skill" apps you install in it to give Alexa extra capabilities. Of course Amazon's plan of how Alexa would be used and thus be profitable completely failed. Said way being they expected people to tell Alexa "To buy X item", ins

If you are in the US and are not getting ads, congratulations. I hope it lasts while knowing that it probably won’t. If you are in the US and are getting ads, welcome to the club. It’s far from exclusive. Amazon has no intention of stopping ads and has always been active in seeking ways to circumven

As we can see in the picture, there’s a $50 difference between the Echo and Echo Dot (4th/5th generations). I’m having a little trouble finding out the differences with both, but I hear it might have something to do with an LED clock? Maybe sound quality? Can somebody help and sway me in one particu

I have four echo dots 5th gen. Before, whenever I would say my wake word, they would respond. But as of maybe the past week or so, they keep ignoring me all together. So I would have to unplug and plug it back, it would reset, then work for a bit. Only to repeat ignoring me again the next day.
