I compared the T-Rex Ultra 2 and T-Rex 3 Pro to a Suunto Vertical 2 and Amazfit's Climb needs still A LOT of work. I also had a Fenix 8 and that watch worked very good in my tracks. I don't think Amazfit is going to put worse software for trail running in the Balance Ultra/T-Rex Ultra 2 or even in the Balance 3/T-Rex 3 Pro.
