Amazfit for serious sports training

Amazfit hardware is fantastic. For reference, in the last couple of years I’ve owned and trained with the following (I’m not rich or crazy, but I got really used to having a bunch of devices during grad school when my research called for it). Amazfit T-Rex 3 Amazfit Balance 2 Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro App

T-Rex Prices are Out of Touch with Reality...

What is Reality? Is there an objective Reality when it comes to pricing? It looks like you get angry just because Amazfit launches more expensive models and you are afraid that you won't be able to buy their products in the future. If you think that Amazfit's price policy gives you much lower value

Balance 2: beautifull and useless

While I agree that software and map experience can be improved, especially maps detail, POI, saved location handling, etc., I do not agree it is that bad. I am using Garmin Fenix 7 also, and experience with Amazift T-rex 3 is much better, more fluid, customizable, easier to transfer GPX path and nav

Is the T-Rex 3 Pro that bad?

Actually, this article does a good job of pointing out many of the same concerns users have mentioned here. Amazfit really nails the hardware, but the software still needs work to deliver a smoother overall experience. That said, I don’t have the T-Rex 3 Pro — I use the Balance 2, Active 2, and Heli

T-Rex Prices are Out of Touch with Reality...

T rex 3 pro can be purchased for about £350 which is good value....the latest amazfit ultra however is too expensive. I wouldn't even say it offers anything much extra.

Switching from Garmin

Long time Garmin user here, Fenix 8 now. I got an T-Rex 3 pro a few weeks ago to test it. I was very surprised by how good it was. I made a list of my own (subjective) pros and cons. I don't list things that are pretty similar, just the differences that mattered to me: Pros amazfit: No forced sleep

T-Rex 3

Neither yet. T rex 4 is incredibly unlikely. T rex 3 is not close to 1 year old yet, and amazfit typically have 2 year minimum cycles. Pro 2... who knows. Possibly, but you could also be waiting for something not coming at all. T rex 3 is a great watch, and it is likely capable of anything you need

Is anyone satisfied with the T-rex 3 pro?

I have used the T-Rex 3 Pro for about two weeks now, in conjunction with my Helio Strap that I've been wearing for about 4 weeks. And I'd call myself very satisfied so far. I have to mention that these are my first fitness wearables, so I cannot really compare. As a tech savvy and relatively sporty

Is anyone satisfied with the T-rex 3 pro?

I don't think you can get a bigger bang for buck than with amazfit. Active 2 premium does 90%+ what the apple ultra 2 does? For around 10% the cost? Crazy. Want something bigger and 'fancier'? You got balance 2 and t rex pro 3 that look really good and are even a bit bigger with better battery, and
