If BioCharge and advanced navigation from the Pro version don’t come to the regular T-Rex 3 via updates, I’ll sell mine without hesitation and never touch Amazfit again. A flagship product abandoned just a year after release, limited on purpose by software. Next year T-Rex 4 will come out with new f

Probably the most unneccesary release I've seen from Amazfit, alognside the T-Rex Ultra 2. They haven't been able to keep up with the Helio Strap demand, still unable to sell a single replacement band for the Helio Strap, the calories algorithm is still super high, sports like swimming are still lac

Yes, Amazfit really disappointed with feature support to standard T Rex 3. They even said that it will receive all features of T Rex 3 Pro but they changed their mind later, or never had that intention and just lied to delay letting down users of standard T Rex 3.

You forgot to mention bugs and inconsistencies in algorithm, even crashes when using navigation/routing features. Also, display is fingerprint magnet that makes it less readable in some scenarios. It is good watch but far from final and stable product that competes with big league watches, which mak

The existence of the Ultra line doesn’t make sense to me. Amazfit watches are good because of their strong price-to-features ratio, you can overlook the drawbacks since they are cheaper than competitors. But "premium" models with the current level of software and especially the length of support are

Back then, Amazfit was nowhere in the position to make longer software support. It wasn't as well known and it didn't make as much profit as it is currently doing. Right now, they feel comfortable enough to provide 3 years of updates for the latest watches, as they seem to invest more in their teams

T-Rex Ultra 2. There are no major differences from the T-Rex 3 Pro. It’s just minor tweaks that don’t justify the high price. Same design, same components. I understand that Amazfit needs to sell more watches to make money and keep investing, but there’s very little difference between its watches.

Well, if you like the design, then great. Personally, I chose the Balance 2, because there are features like bluetooth calling, that I need. (It has speakers while the T-Rex 3 does not.) And also, a lot of features that were once T-Rex 3 Pro exclusives have just been brought to the Balance 2. It sti

I got your point. I also was worried about how cheaper watches like Balance 2 and T-Rex 3 got(at the time when T-Rex 3 Pro was their most expensive watch) all the software especially route planning which was special for T-Rex 3 Pro as the same as Golf app for Balance 2(the Golf app still is not port

Yeah my experience is the same, it takes so long to count the lap that it messes up the real times. But I'd say it's actually pretty good for the average swimmer tbh. The average swimmer doesn’t really care that much about their times and tracking intervals. For that people it's more than enough bc
