Anyone with experience with alen air purifiers.

I’m using Alen 45i and 35i in our home and they work great. we have 2 cats and these machines remove any pet and cooking odors. filter needs to be replaced once a year. Having an app makes it handy to check or change settings as needed, also has a schedule option. good machines for the money.

Looking for air purifier for cat smell

Purifiers under 200 wont do much for odors unfortunately. Or not for very long. You need thicker filters with black carbon pellets -these absorb odors. The normal white filters in most purifiers just capture particles. Does nothing for odors. Under 200 dollar units will fair chance have a thin carbo

ALEN BreatheSmart Flex for bedroom

I have an Alen 35i, which is a smaller and newer model than what you’re looking at. It runs very quietly for the bedroom. This brand is pretty high-end, though, and if you’re not picky about which boxes need to be checked, you can certainly find something cheaper that filters the air equally well.

Anyone with experience with alen air purifiers.

I've wanted Alen for years. Got the 75i and 35i. 35i was fine, but not that impressed with odor removal and I have the ultimate filter. Small kitchen and if I cook a burger, the smell is still there in the morning-even on turbo. 75i makes a knocking sound even on the lowest speed and that is right o

Thoughts on this air purifier?

This stuff is so fascinating! I've also stumbled upon BreatheSmart 35i and the Coway Airmega AP-1512HH. Our living room is 25' x 20' x 10' (ceilings). I'll check out those Winix ones and can hopefully afford to get 2. Bonus that the Alen's are FSA/HSA eligible.

Looking for plain HEPA filter to reduce cigarette smoke content, no ionizer options please!

HEPA purifiers reduce the particulate component of cigarette smoke, especially fine PM2.5 and even a portion of ultrafine particles, but they don’t eliminate gaseous toxins or all odors. You would need plenty of sorbent media for the latter. You could try a Levoit Vital 200S-P, it’s $20 cheaper at V

Need a filter for odors please deadly allergic

The ventilator is a good idea as someone else suggested, as no purifier under 200ish bucks will do much for odors. A good unit for odors is an Alen45i, but it's 350 bucks. An Alen 35i I think is 290. One of the best is AustinAir and they are 750. So is suggest Austin Air, or maybe an Alen. For a ven

air purifier available on Amazon that can really handle smoke

Either of these Alen options are so much better. I’ve tried several different models of different brands, and none of the others really did the job for me. Broke my heart that they just wind up in the landfill when you return them. The 45i is really worth it. There’s an Alen Flex on Amazon for $350,

I think alen air would suit you.. you have the budget for it.. specifically, alen breathsmart 35i - it’s expensive but quiet.. has good carbon for vocs should you need it.. lifetime warranty so it can grow with you.. much more cadr than you need for the room, so you dont have to run it on high.. aga
