Best camera on a budget?

I use an akaso branded action cam (brave 7le). It makes decent videos. I can use the gopro app to make ai generated clips if i choose. I also have a tg6 and video light. If it’s just for you to share with friends and reminisce about your dives, akaso is sufficient.

Need Camera Set up advice

I have an Akaso brave 7le that does the job quite well. I have it mounted above my tg6, start it when i submerge, stop when i surface. I get almost 3 hours 4k video on a 64gb card, unfortunately my color correction reverts the video to 1080p, but it looks great. A video light makes a big difference

Wallet friendly cameras

Brave 7LE is the one i use. It’s my third Akaso camera. It works great. I wish i could find a wide angle dome for it though.

First good BFS eat since I got my chest camera, big girl crushed the Micromax

Akaso Brave 7LE and an Amazon special chest rig, the 4K looks great but I had to render this one down to 1080 to fit reddits size cap https://a.co/d/biY3W8x

Recommendations for a camera

I have a AKASO Brave 7. The Brave 7 LE is on sale on Amazon. I like it. Decent batteries, great quality, decent stabilization. The one I bought came with a million mounts, great for scooter or helmet mounts 4k 30, but I shoot in 2k60. Can be used on usb c cable with or w/o battery since you’re mount

Best cam on a budget?

If your phone is less than three years old, you likely will get a better video out of that than a sub-$150 action camera. I have a sub-$150 camera, and while it was OK for daytime travel vlogging, it was not so good for running and unsatisfactory for night or low-light video. The stabilization was j

Akaso 7LE Vs GoPro 11

I purchased the Akaso Brave 7 LE last year. It is a budget-friendly camera. The image stabilisation is good but not great like the GoPro. A wide-angle view is not as good as a GoPro provides a wider look. If you are motovlogger, don't buy it.

Is my Akaso Brave 7 LE a fake? (See comments)

I just realized I have the same bootleg AKASO le 7 that you have. I purchased it on August 13 2025. I thought it was a firmware issue, and mine records , but has no sound at all during playback. And the display screen is nothing like the ones that have the brave 7 le printed under the front screen.

Best budget action cameras?

Skip the budget brands entirely and pick up a DJI Osmo Action 3 or 4 on clearance, it’ll still be much better than a brand new China knockoff or clone. If you insist on a budget option still so you have a new cam, the only one I know which is decent is the Akaso Brave 7 LE which has a front-facing s

Easy to use camera for erderly father

I'd go with an Akaso Brave 7 LE to start with. Under $150 and comes with a bunch of accessories. It won't be perfect, but it will work and lets him see if he likes doing it before you invest in a $400+ GoPro, DJI, or Insta360 camera.
