Top tier backpack, like aer city pack pro, peak design everyday backpack etc. top tier only if it’s a gift. Don’t buy shoes for people. Some people wear crocs, some wear running shoes, I wore basketball shoes. Let people decide that for themselves. If they’re moving, a nice sheet set or bedding. Or

Aer City Pack Pro 2 is probably the most common recommendation, especially for people getting their first quality backpack. Fwiw, I've been dailying Bellroy Venture Ready Pack 26l and it's been nothing short of amazing.

First time buying an expensive backpack and i chose aer after hanging around this sub. Go for it. I even went with ultra. I got the 20L bec. I plan to edc this and personal carry. But the 24L is the size to go. Especially buying it blind online. I would choose this. But if you want a one bag the 28L

I travel with Aer bags! The Travel Pack 3 Small was a good companion that is at the upper limit of what would fit under a seat as a personal item. If you're using it for school, college, commuting, or light travel, it's hard to go wrong. If yo

Aer City Pack Pro 2 or Sympl Commuter are both excellent bags and much better value for the money than the LTT bag.

The AER City Pack Pro 2 20L has become my go to personnel item bag. The dimensions are very good.

If you're looking for a bag that can serve as both an EDC and an overnight travel backpack, with a luggage pass through and an admin panel, consider these: Rework Toshi 20L Aer City Pack Pro 20L or 24L Wexley Taylor 25L

I just ordered an aer city pack pro I saw recommended on another sub, it hasn’t arrived yet but looks super slick. Also pricey but less so than the evergoods.
