Banjo Recompiled Release Trailer
Playing right now with an 8BitDo 64 and an OLED TV. This was my favorite game as a kid and I CANNOT OVERSTATE how monumentally crazy it feels to be playing with this responsiveness, fluidity, and original yet modern control scheme. It's a second honeymoon y'all!

So do we have a definitive answer as to whether or not 8bitDo or Nintendo Online expansion pack 64 controllers are as good an OG wired N64 controller?
Gotta say, I have one of each (OG wired, NSO and 8Bitdo 64) and they all work perfectly fine for me. I have never had any lag, though I am probably only 1 to 1 1/2 meters from the Analogue 3D. I probably prefer the 8bitDo simply because I'm used to the form factor, though it is fun to reminisce and

Anyone else waiting for the Analogue 3D? Looking for real reviews and honest opinions
Personally, I love it. The screen filters make it look like how I remember it looking as a child when playing in a CRT, and (in my opinion) look better than the internal upscale that you get with emulators (especially for 2D elements like UI which look bad at high resolutions). I bought the 8BitDo 6

Back in the saddle
You have several options for wireless controllers. I leave you my 2.5 favourite plus one that is about to come. Official Nintendo 64 NSO controller Being BT you can use the excellent RetroTime Adapter (does not add any perceptible lag) or anything made with BlueRetro really. I use this right now, be

8BitDo Retro N64 Side-by-Side
S-Mode is “Switch mode”. Think of it as a controller that speaks Nintendo Switch. Any Switch only controller is “S-Mode” only. D-Mode is Direct Input, a standard used by a lot of devices (just not the Switch). NSO 64 (for Nintendo Switch Online) is only S-Mode (or Switch only). Up until A3D firmware

For those with the Analogue 3d, what’s been your experience with controllers?
The 8bitdo ones that were released for the analogue feels great in the hands, the buttons feel great, and would be perfect for playing games with a few friends like Mario party or Mario Kart, but any game that requires precision on the analogue stick like Goldeneye or Ocarina of time using the sling

What controllers work with Analogue 3D?
Hello!
This is the Analogue FAQ page: https://www.analogue.co/support/resource/3d-faq
- 8Bitdo 64 Bluetooth controller works well with the Analogue 3D
- Original N64 controller (wired) also works well with the Analogue 3D
However, after reading FAQ, I am unsure if there's any workaround to connect ot

Short review of 8bitdo 64
Just got mine today, almost a year after pre-ordering... So happy to finally have it in my hands! So far, feels great, buttons and all feel quality, low latency, etc. But I have one issue: The button placement feels weird... Like too low. Is it just me? I have very medium-sized hands, but it instantl

Any way to correctly map this controller? C right remains unassigned.
I figured it out! The 8bitdo 64 controller needs to be in X-input mode. Since wirelessly it only does S and D input, I used an 8bitdo USB adapter, connected via S-input (not D, I know, confusing!), remapped the controls, and now it works! Probably better with 2.4 GHz vs Bluetooth with lower latency
